Mexican Invasion Title: FEDS: Surge In DACA Recipients Losing Protections For Crimes, Thousands Convicted Or Charged Thousands of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients have been convicted or accused of committing crimes against U.S. citizens, and federal authorities say that they have seen an explosion in the number of illegal alien DACA recipients that are losing their protections for crime and gang-related activities. The news comes as Democrats voted against a Republican continuing resolution on Friday night that would have kept the government open and averted a shutdown of non-essential services as they prioritize 800,000 illegal aliens over hundreds-of-millions of American citizens. Late last year, statistics from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) revealed that in just the last few years a total of 2,139 DACA recipients have been convicted or accused of committing crimes against Americans. Federal agents told The Washington Examiner's Paul Bedard that the number of DACA recipients that have lost their protected status due to crime or gang affiliations "surged 30 percent" in 2017 with more and more DACA recipients seemingly committing crimes every year. For example, 56 recipients lost their protected status in 2013 due to crime or gang activity, a number that shot all the way up to 622 in 2017 — a near 1,200% increase. According to a statement provided to the Examiner from USCIS: The director of policy studies at the Center for Immigration Studies, Jessica Vaughn, said that the numbers show the nightmare that the DACA program has been for the U.S. "It confirms that the DACA screening process was woefully inadequate. The eligibility bar was set very low, explicitly allowing people with multiple misdemeanor and certain felony convictions to be approved. Only a handful of the applicants were ever interviewed, and only rarely was the information on the application ever verified," Vaughn said. A leaked memo from former Hillary Clinton official Jennifer Palmieri shows that the Democrats are primarily concerned about protecting DACA recipients because it is a "critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success." It's still nice to have written confirmation of your well-founded suspicions in the handwriting of someone in the enemy camp.

Thanks. It's refreshing to learn somebody's reading my posts.
#4. To: Tooconservative (#0) Thousands of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients have been convicted or accused of committing crimes against U.S. citizens But ... but ... they're just children, according to Chuckie Schumer.
#5. To: misterwhite (#4) I know. I'm almost as shocked by that as Schumer is.
#6. To: Tooconservative (#0) as they prioritize 800,000 illegal aliens over hundreds-of-millions of American citizens. Hmmm, more like 3.2 million, since the Democrats are proposing 800,000 Dreamers plus their immediate family. In exchange, the Democrats are willing to give Trump $1.6 billion of the $18 billion he wants to start construction on the wall.
#7. To: misterwhite (#6) In exchange, the Democrats are willing to give Trump $1.6 billion of the $18 billion he wants to start construction on the wall. Trump won't go for it. With the major news outlets (Slimes, WaPo, AP) all declaring the Dems are the shutdown culprits, Trump has to feel good about his chances to crush the Dems.
#8. To: Tooconservative (#7) Trump won't go for it. He didn't. But he should have said, "Since you're giving me 10% of the wall, I'll give you 80,000 Dreamers. I'm deporting the remaining 720,000 starting next week. Plus their illegal parents".
#9. To: misterwhite (#8) But he should have said, "Since you're giving me 10% of the wall, I'll give you 80,000 Dreamers. I'm deporting the remaining 720,000 starting next week. Plus their illegal parents". I've gotten tired of this "you can't deport 800,000 Dreamers", "you can't deport 11 million people", "you can't build a concrete border wall from sea to sea". Fuck that. This is America. We can do all those things if we just decide that we want to. We could deport the lot of 'em and build a 200' high wall from across the entire southern and northern borders of the country if we decided to.
#10. To: Tooconservative (#9) We can do all those things if we just decide that we want to. Without breaking a sweat. In 1954, as part of Operation Wetback, a total of 750 immigration and border patrol officers and investigators deported over 1 million illegals the first year. Today, ICE has 12,000 agents. Plus we have 20,000 border patrol agents.
#11. To: misterwhite (#10) Exactly. It just annoys me that no Republican will ever stand up and say, "Oh, yes, we can." You have to wonder if Trump is planning to start deporting them if the Dems don't cave. I think he should consider ratcheting up the pressure. I don't normally go for the pass-my-budget-or-I'll-shoot-the-bunny strong-arm tactics but, if not now, when? Trump needs to carry through. He's about to get a big shot in the arm for the GOP when people finally find out in a few weeks that they are going to get those tax cuts. About half of the public still doesn't believe they will get any.
#12. To: misterwhite (#6) Sounds like NO DEAL!
#13. To: Tooconservative (#11) What the hell is wrong with you guys? Just because you can is the stupidest argument I've heard yet. Do you guys really honestly think that little kids from Mexico are just as bad as Muslims? If so, you really need to have your head checked.
