Forget the fact, that minsters, priests, rabbis etc., are secretly spying on worshippers. Forget the fact, that places of worship want their own police force..Forget the fact that places of worship are conducting ‘Holy Ghost pat-downs’. And finally, forget the fact that places of worship are paying the government a $100 dollars a month to spy on families.

Because now, Big Brother has convinced places of worship to install surveillance cameras to spy on their followers.

Big Brother’s surveillance of religions, would make the old NKVD blush with envy.

A recent article in The Advocate, warns that ProjectNola plans to install more than 100 surveillance cameras in places of worship.

“ProjectNOLA, an independent, nonprofit crime camera network, has been seeking — and has begun to find — financial support for a plan that would place such cameras on more than 100 places of worship…”

ProjectNola’s first phase is to spend $1 million dollars on surveillance cameras in places of worship.

“A key component of the partnership’s $1 million first phase is a plan to expand the nearly nine-year-old ProjectNOLA camera network.”

Every place of worship to have surveillance cameras

Big Brother wants surveillance cameras in every place of worship.

“Equipping every church in New Orleans with a surveillance camera is one of the goals of the NOLA Partnership for Public Safety and Peace.”

Just think about that for a moment, soon every place of worship will have surveillance cameras. Even Orwell's book 1984 wasn’t that grim.

Who needs God’s all seeing eye, when the police can do it for him in real-time?

Law enforcement will spy on worshippers in real-time

The above video, shows how law enforcement has been using ProjectNola to spy on citizens in real-time since 2011.

Church surveillance cameras, combined with license plate readers will give Big Brother unimaginable real-time spying capabilities.

It appears that ProjectNola, is mirrored after DHS’s ‘See Something Say Something’ program that encourages businesses and home owners to spy on one another.

As I mentioned two months ago, ProjectNola has been so successful, it appears that DHS has copied it and renamed it ‘Virtual Block Watch‘ (VBW).

“Virtual Block Watch is law enforcement’s latest national surveillance program that encourages the public to use surveillance cameras to spy on one another.”

Nothing says police state, quite like ProjectNola making $200,000 annually on surveillance camera maintenance fees.

What do ProjectNola and VBW have in common?

First off, ProjectNola was designed by former police officer, Bryan LaGarde who charged homeowners and businesses $346.00 dollars for a ‘crime camera kit’.

A surveillance network designed by a police officer? Nothing suspicious about that right?

ProjectNola also claims to be the largest networked HD city-wide crime camera system in America”.

And just like ProjectNola, VBW wants businesses and residents to purchase and install their own surveillance cameras.

But VBW has taken police spying to a whole new level.

Police are asking homeowners and businesses to install four surveillance cameras.

“Police suggest that three houses in each block have surveillance cameras and each house has a set of four cameras.”

“Cameras are attached to houses on each end of a city block and then a third house in the middle.”

Do police really need another surveillance system to spy on everyone?

Fyi, Nvidia is planning on turning police vehicles into 360 degree facial recognition cameras.

Please, don’t be fooled by whatever names law enforcement calls them. Hopefully, most of us know what their real names are, ‘Project DHS’ and ‘Police Surveillance Watch’.

Americans need more privacy not less.

It's America. Land of the free. If you don't wanna be on church cam.... go to a different church or better yet, start your own cameraless church. If there is a need or desire for a product, people will but it... you might get 6% of the Paultard following to attend your church (if they are all of the same religion).

Your over sensitized sheep feel safer when their church officials put cams in after all these church shootings... you imbecile. For me, if I felt the need to go to a house of worship, I'd be packing a .45 Glock... and I'd sit where I could watch the entrance/exits.

You're serious?

Wow! You really are clueless.

If you don't wanna be on church cam.... go to a different church...

Gee whiz - kinda tough to do when the police state that you advocate is placing the cameras everywhere, even in churches.

You must love Big Brother very, very much.

Doubleplusgood comrade - an extra ration of chocolate and Victory gin for you.

You used the word “is” in your effort to impart an absolute malicious fabrication into your false supposition to try to gain support for your position. Why do you do such devious things as that?

There is no “police state” placing cameras in churches. At lease no place I am aware of and I keep myself well informed on current news and news of impending actions.

So, let’s cut straight through your bullshit….and you document to everyone where any so called “police state” is placing, or has placed, a single camera in one church.

Do you really think that this will remain voluntary? You really think that the global government doesn't hate religion, especially churches that don't submit to any unlawful edicts.

You don't think they will be used to monitor the preaching to make sure there is no criticism of the government and then crack down on those that do?

This may seem far-fetched to you - we all know that you lack any vision whatsoever.

You're naive to think that this "can't happen here".

Christians Hospitalized After Fighting Communist Party Orders to Install Security Cameras in Church

Several Chinese Christians who fought back against Communist Party officials who ordered  churches in Zhejiang Province to install security cameras, which believers fear will be used to monitor their activities, are now being treated for their injuries at a local hospital.

South China Morning Post reported on Monday that the government ordered the installation of the surveillance equipment at churches for "anti-terrorism and security purposes."

Believers in the city of Wenzhou, however, who are said to number close to 1 million, see it as part of the Communist Party's continued crackdown on Christianity, along with the ongoing campaign to remove crosses from church rooftops.

"Government officials came to the churches and put up cameras by force. Some pastors and worshipers who didn't agree to the move were dragged away," one Christian in Wenzhou shared with the publication

You're naive …
Perhaps you have a misunderstanding as to what “naïve” means and really is.
It has been said that a person is "naive" tends to believe in whatever he is told, without questioning whether it is right or wrong.
Knowing me as you do over these last years, do you really think I “believe in whatever I am told, without questioning whether it is right or wrong?“ If you think that, then it is you who is naïve. If you don’t think that….then don’t make such a false accusation.
… this "can't happen here".
I will think that it can happen here after I am shown plausible reasons that it can possibly happen here or I am shown there is proof positive that it is in the process of actually happening here.

What I am doing here is called logical thinking.

What you are doing, and obviously trying to get me to do, is to make a conjecture. Conjecture in that you are trying to use some bad reasoning that involves the formation of a conclusion from incomplete evidence… incomplete evidence that is only being slightly suggestive.

Bad boy….for you doing that and trying to get me to also do that.

Let’s move on to your next point….shall we?

There are many reasons why churches need to install security cameras.

I recall a case where a mother accused a Sunday school teacher of molesting her young daughter. The man’s life and reputation could have been ruined merely by the accusation alone. But fortunately it was not since video from the church security camera proved the accusation to be entirely false.

Then there was the case I remember where a two people broke into a church to steal the Sunday offering. However, a camera captured their faces and the surveillance footage was used to identify both of them and to link them not only to the robbery here, but also to a string of burglaries.

These are but two real life reasons for having security cameras in a church. It is amazing that you fail to realize the full value of the safety potential for having security cameras in churches.

You want body cameras on cops that without any discrimination or consideration for privacy show everything sacred in someone’s home when the cops enter and even show without any regard whatsoever for personal privacy, someone sitting on a toilet taking a crap if the cops bust in there to arrest them. It has happened.

And yet you get all bent out of shape and become more intense and aggressive that what is needed when the idea of a camera possible being in a church is even mentioned.

What the fuck is wrong with you, man?
