No it isn't. If Moore wins, the media and GOP Establishment aren't going anywhere. They will have suffered another small tactical defeat. They have not been driven from the field and silenced.

I will go further than that and say a Moore win works to the advantage of the left,including the GOP left. It gives them a rallying cry to depict all conservatives to be as loony as Moore is,and to raise funds and hurt actual conservative candidates. It's hard to believe in a southern state that large that a turd as large as Moore was able to float to the surface and win the nomination. You watch,this will hurt conservatives in the long run. In the entire history of the world,the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments. #3. I think Moore will win, and that his victory will energize the conservative base, leading to more victories. BUT, because the Republicans will have just openly made the same choice that the Democrats did with Clinton - stand behind a many-times-accused alleged sexual predator for political reasons - the Republicans will lose any moral authority they had on the matter. So, what will win is the practical "art of the possible" approach to politics that seeks power and ignores principle when they get in the way. So, the political party will be empowered, but CONSERVATIVES, who care about ethical matters, will be diminished.
