The Left's War On Christians Title: Catholic university to host LGBT ‘Pride Prom’ in campus ballroom A Catholic university in Wisconsin has drawn outraged criticism for agreeing to host an LGBT-themed dance on its campus next spring. Marquette University, a Jesuit-run university located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, will feature an event called “Pride Prom” next April in one of its campus ballrooms. Nearly 20,000 people have signed a petition condemning the planned celebration. The building in which the dance will take place also contains a chapel in which resides the Eucharist, which Catholics believe to be the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Poster Comment: So many Catholic faggots. Probably because the poop lied about being married. So now they have to sneak around with the same sex. The catholics shouldn't have lied about the Bible forbidding marriage. That is what happens when you follow a sinful man (the popes) and not God. It is what happens when you make up scripture like the Catholics are famous for. Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest #1. To: A K A Stone, redleghunter (#0) This is the rotten fruit of Pope Frank The Hippie Pope and his pandering to the Lefty media. He encourages this with his wavering stances and "who am I to judge" equivocations on traditional Catholic morality.

#3. To: redleghunter (#2) The Jesuits are still generally intellectually rigorous but they seem to stand for nothing in the last 20 years. Earlier, you might disagree with their Catholic dogma but they never hosted sodomy proms. Now they seem to compete on who can be the first Jesuits to do so. Morally corrupt.
#4. To: Tooconservative (#3) Seems the post modern Jesuits have more in common with Hefner. I saw the change coming when I was at college. You had the hardliner Jebbies who were right of Atilla the Hun and the ones left of Lenin. I had one Jesuit prof. who ran a Liberation Theology course I unfortunately had to take showing up to campus past registration deadline due to attending Airborne school. It was quite a gas lit class as I was a very vocal young man. :-) Few weeks into the course he shared his experience as an American citizen who volunteered to be a chaplain for the Sandinistas in the late 70s. Needless to say he was dispensing Marxist propaganda in the course and I knew I would not be getting an A.

I wouldn't have expected it in a Jesuit school. I always thought they weren't liberation theology types. It is difficult to know the agenda of the vast numbers of Catholic institutions, many with conflicting ideas and agendas. It seems to me that there is a lot more divisiveness in the church of Rome in the last few decades. Before that, there was far less difference between any of the Catholic orgs other than the Lefty Maryknoll nuns or the small numbers of liberation theology types.
