Video and Audio Title: Saturday Music Thread Ok,I'll start this one off with the song that was probably the Eagles first big hit. Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest WOW! That one showed up in the review. I have no idea what happened. No big deal. When I listened to it,the sound on that one really sucked anyhow. I'll try this solo effort by Don Henley and see how it works out.
#2. To: All (#1) I'll try Witchy Woman one more time.
#3. To: All (#2) sound still sucks, and that's the best one I could find.
#4. To: All (#0) A little more music from that era, even though Uriah Heep was NOT know for laid back ballads, this is a great one. Here is a song my typical for Uriah Heep. These guys were,no shit, the best band live you would ever hear, period. NOBODY did it better up on stage in front of people.
#5. To: sneakypete (#2) I'll try Witchy Woman one more time. LOL...the song my husband says discribes me....how did you know? &;-)
#6. To: sneakypete, ALL (#0) Spanish Girl: Julio Iglesias
#7. To: All (#6) To All the Girls I've Loved Before: Willie Nelson & Julio Iglesias
#8. To: Murron (#5) I'll try Witchy Woman one more time. I would have thought Bitchy Woman would be the one.
#9. To: sneakypete (#0)
#10. To: Sarajevo (#9) My favorite Meatloaf song is the one above. I don't know who that chick backup singer is,but she absolutely ROCKS! I also liked his performances in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
#11. To: sneakypete (#1) JD Souther us an incredible songwriter.
#12. To: sneakypete (#0) How about a little Boz.
#13. To: All (#10) Speaking of Rocky Horror.
Without a doubt the greatest musical ever put on film.
#14. To: Sarajevo (#9) Paradise by the dashboard light
#15. To: sneakypete (#0) Definitive 80s video. Great tune. Sax by Springsteen's Clearance Cleamons. *NOTE* - NO siliconed babes.
#16. To: sneakypete (#10) Ellen Foley rocks
#17. To: Liberator (#15) Maybe, but from what I remember, these two groups pretty much dominated the sound in the 80's. Even my industrial-strength redneck cousin and his wife loved Dire Straits. In fact I will go so far as to say their Brothers in Arms CD will match up against any album ever put out by almost anybody. We are talking about them approaching being almost as creative and as good as Pink Floyd.
And yes, this is proof that Bono sometimes does stuff other than pose as a spokes model for stupid.
#18. To: sneakypete (#17)
#19. To: Joe Snuffy (#16) Ellen Foley rocks If that's who was singing that duet with Meatloaf, you ain't just a-whoofin'! She matches him note for note and energy output for energy output. Which ain't easy to do. Look at her facial expressions and body movements, too. I think she would be one hell ofa powerful actress.
#20. To: A K A Stone (#18) WOW! That's impressive,I don't care who you are.
#21. To: Liberator (#15) BTW,this guy had some big hits in the 80's,too. Embedding is disabled for the video below, but it's well worth going to the link to watch. One of my all time favorite music videos, and there is plenty of eye candy for both men and women. Not only that, but the hormones were so thick in the air in that cantina when when they filmed the video that you could practically see them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq2KgzKETBw This was the big song for the Johnny Depp movie "Don Juan de Marco",with Marlon Brando and Faye Dunaway. It is impossible to watch that movie and not be smiling when the credits roll.
#22. To: All (#21)
#23. To: sneakypete Sarajevo, Joe Snuffy (#2) I'll try Witchy Woman one more time. I have been looking forward to this all day, and finally broke free after spending all day putting up a tree/
#24. To: Joe Snuffy (#14) Wow, that one really was good.
#25. To: sneakypete (#0) Esse Quam Videri. #26. To: sneakypete (#0) Esse Quam Videri. #27. To: Joe Snuffy (#14) Paradise by the dashboard light LOL! That must be a really good one. It got posted twice.
