Oh, boo-hoo. Gimme, gimme, gimme. I'm very sorry (again), but our recurring response time nightmare is back (again). The good news, though, is John has finally checked in. He's been out of town a lot in the last couple weeks dealing with some urgent family issues regarding his other half's adopted child. Praying that works out soon. He also says his phone needs to be replaced and has not had time to get it done. The bad news is, he has not been able to resolve our server issue yet. He suspects it's some kind of intermittent error in our network switch or router and wants to replace our front-end hardware but has not had time to purchase the new equipment or get back up to San Joose to install it. Hopefully, soon.
This is what about $1,000 per DAY gets you; a 1995 BBS running on Windows ME. How many more millions needed before posts can be edited?

They are juuuust ONE check away from buying John Rob a time machine back to 1999 when FR's software OUT-PERFORMED the 2017 version of data-harvesting, resource-robbing FREE Chinese shareware.
C'mon, the Packard-Bell 486SX is staggering. And the scion of Clan Robinson is caught out of town with a failing CB radio. The drama is almost too much. : ) Of course, this is not a very satisfying narrative to get the rubes to mail in those Social Security checks. It sounds like JohnRob will return at some unspecified date well into the future to finally fix things. Maybe JimRob is just bored and toying with the peons.
Heh-heh....easy to evoke "The Spirit" of contempt, ain't it? lol @ "failing CB radio." JR's basement is probably 1997 time capsule. I'm not totally convince JR isn't actually still firing up the ol' Packard Bell 486SX as his primary PC. I can easily picture a train of other cobwebbed mid-1990s relics wired and duck-taped to one another down his basement, mountains of empty beer cans strewn all over the place along with tons of opened $$ and check envelopes, never discarded. The Wiz of Id and the peasants -- THE perfect JR/FR metaphor. Of course, this is not a very satisfying narrative to get the rubes to mail in those Social Security checks. Picture a gme show wheel OR dart board with several excuses why FR is down. And evil laughter from both Jim and Jon echoing throughout his house from the basement. He's been bored of playing King of Id. Yeah, the drama is *almost* too much, BUT NOT QUITE for *us*.
Well, it seemed a classic but I'm lazy. It was almost too easy.
