politics and politicians Title: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Goes To A Beach He Closed To The Public
If you have ever thought that the government is “for the people” and “by the people,” think again. Politicians are continuing to prove that they know they are better than and more equal than the rest of us. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie “shut down” the Garden state’s government over the holiday weekend over an inability for the elected politicians to agree on a budget. But Christie didn’t really shut down the government. He made sure there are cops extorting people on the roads they were stolen from to pay for, and he’s still collecting taxes and sending out welfare checks. All he really did was ruin the holiday weekend for the peasants unfortunate enough to live under his rule. He closed the parks and beaches and made those already camping pack up and go home. Governor Christie @GovChristie I have issued an Executive Order declaring a state of emergency to maintain the protection, safety & well-being of the people of NJ.
But Christie is in the magical system of government. He and his family got to hang out and soak up the sun on the closed Island Beach State Park in the Garden state over the weekend. It was his own private beach thanks to the “government shutdown.” When a reporter asked Christie during a news conference why he had the nerve to use a beach that he closed to the public, he said, “That’s just the way it goes. Run for governor and you can have a residence.” Meaning, the rest of us will pay to house these fools while they go on vacations we are banned from. Christie and his family had full run of Island Beach State Park, a barrier island where the state-owned governor’s residence is located. “State-owned” means taxpayer funded for those out there doing mental gymnastics with attempts to defend the government. Even socialist hero Bernie Sanders has three houses, all paid for by taxpayers. It isn’t the party that’s the problem – it’s the entire government. Power corrupts, and the peasants always pay the price. How ironic that all of this is happening on the very weekend many are celebrating their “freedom.” *Here are exclusive aerial photos by NJ Advance Media showing Christie surrounded by his wife, Mary Pat Christie, and others. (You can open the photo gallery here to see all the photos.) At this point, it really is difficult to see why anyone would vote anymore. As long as we wave a flag that’s the right color, and chant “we are free!” that makes it so, supposedly. On this important holiday, which celebrates treason, secession, and the law-breaking rebels which formed the country we all live in now, take the time to ponder your “freedom.” When it comes to economic freedom, the United States doesn’t even crack the top ten. So much for being the land of the free. Many are still blind and harshly critical of those who seek real freedom from the tyrants in power. It’s time to ask ourselves the question we don’t want to ask. Are we truly free? If we were, New Jersey residents wouldn’t still be being taxed to keep a beach running so their overlord can use it free of charge while they are ordered, under threats of violence, to keep their distance from the same beach. #2. To: Deckard (#0) New Jersey Governor Chris Christie “shut down” the Garden state’s government over the holiday weekend over an inability for the elected politicians to agree on a budget. That's what Gov. Rauner should do in Illinois. But I think that was a smart move by Christie. He probably never goes to the beach but, in doing so now, he's reminding the people that it's the legislature preventing them from doing the same.

#5. To: misterwhite (#4) (Edited) Because the state legislature refused to pass a budget. Oh - THEY are the ones who closed the parks and beaches? Effing Christie cheerleader. Yeah, smart move by the obese statist pig - on a holiday weekend. “Truth is treason in the empire of lies.” - Ron Paul![]() Those who most loudly denounce Fake News are typically those most aggressively disseminating it.#6. Commas - semicolons - question marks are for girlie boys ! #7. To: Deckard (#0) For tens of thousands of years, maybe longer, people have been going to the beach without a government passing a budget! The only difference between Christie and the fable of Marie Antoinette is that there is no cake because Christie ate it all. At the beach. When nobody was looking. Because they were prohibited entry. By Christie. Who was eating all the cake.
#8. To: Anthem (#7) (Edited) For tens of thousands of years, maybe longer, people have been going to the beach without a government passing a budget! Or asking "permission" from the government. The only difference between Christie and the fable of Marie Antoinette is that there is no cake because Christie ate it all. At the beach. When nobody was looking. Because they were prohibited entry. By Christie. Who was eating all the cake. Yeah - I thought about just that example applying to elitists like Christie. “Truth is treason in the empire of lies.” - Ron Paul![]() Those who most loudly denounce Fake News are typically those most aggressively disseminating it.Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest |
