The Establishments war on Donald Trump Title: NYT Corrects Story Claiming 17 Intel Agencies ‘Agree’ On Russia The original article, published June 25, covered certain reactions that President Donald Trump gave in response to Russian cyber attacks and interactions with the 2016 presidential election. TheNYT’s correction notes that: “The assessment was made by four intelligence agencies — the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency. The assessment was not approved by all 17 organizations in the American intelligence community.” Former candidate Hillary Clinton made the claim in late May that all 17 intelligence agencies agreed “that the Russians ran an extensive information war against my campaign to influence voters in the election.” Former FBI Director James Comey refuted this false claim in a congressional hearing in May, stating that the assessment was only from the NSA, FBI and the CIA. The Daily Caller News Foundation published a fact-check June 1 that rated Clinton’s claim as “False.” Poster Comment: A story that has ticked me off ever since I first heard it. Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest Another piece of evidence that if there was any collusion in the election and aftermath it was between the Hitlery campaign, DNC and US government agencies. That's the real story to pursue. How the Obama admin used US intelligence and other government executive arms (read IRS) to influence the election is more diabolical than an outside source hacking unsecure non-government political party mail.
#2. To: redleghunter (#1) Another piece of evidence that if there was any collusion in the election and aftermath it was between the Hitlery campaign, DNC and US government agencies. That's the real story to pursue. AoS had a decent link/quote and commentary on this recently.
Notice how the Deep State used the discredited Pee Party rumor to jumpstart the entire Russia hacking fake news stories.
#3. To: Tooconservative (#0) Former FBI Director James Comey refuted this false claim in a congressional hearing in May, stating that the assessment was only from the NSA, FBI and the CIA. And here it is almost July before the failing NYT prints a retraction.
#4. To: Tooconservative (#0) in response to Russian cyber attacks First it was "Russia hacked the election". Now it's "Russian cyber attacks". Neither of which is true. Some Russian (maybe) in Russia (maybe) with the knowledge of the Russian government (maybe) broke into the DNC server and Podesta's g-mail account and published the contents through WikiLeaks. That's it.
#5. To: misterwhite (#3) And here it is almost July before the failing NYT prints a retraction. Slim's Slimes would undoubtedly say they are not failing (telling the truth as they should) because they are serving a higher cause (delegitimizing Trump and his agenda, if nothing else just slowing it down a lot). Slim & Co. are behaving consistently with their clear objective. And if their reputation suffers, so what? They will still always be lauded as the Newspaper of Record. Even as they rent out 8 floors of their building, cut staff by hundreds, etc. With Slim's money behind them, they don't need to worry so much about actual circulation. Carlos Slim and his NYSlimes, Bezos and his WaPo. These two billionaires are waging their own jihad on Trump using these flagship newspapers that they bought as tax writeoffs.
#6. To: misterwhite (#4) First it was "Russia hacked the election". Now it's "Russian cyber attacks". Neither of which is true. They keep changing the story because, as various elements get discredited, they can still maintain "new information" on the underlying scandal. It's like debating evolutionists or Marxists. They have an unfalsifiable core belief system and they are dishonest enough to stick with it, no matter what the facts say. They only retrench when they find 80% of the public is against them. And then they find a way to revive it using new "facts" or by relabeling it to make it sound like some new info about an old topic.
#7. To: Tooconservative (#6) And when the whole truth finally comes out the MSM will yawn and say it's old news.
#8. To: misterwhite (#7) And when the whole truth finally comes out the MSM will yawn and say it's old news. It's a time-tested script after all. And it only has to work on a little over 50% of the public, most of whom are paying very little attention to begin with. And if 40% of the public is reliably hardcore partisan, you have less than 10% of the public to bamboozle with your #FakeNews productions. What's surprising is just how easy it is to do this and get away with it over and over. Once you abandon the notion that the first and foremost duty of the press is to report the truth in an unbiased way, you realize how profitable it can be to create and distribute #FakeNews. And it can be very popular with some advertisers in the Slimes and WaPo. They like the flavor of #FakeNews being peddled; they want to underwrite it.
#9. To: Tooconservative (#8) (Edited) It's funny. You watch some old movies -- even the latest season of House of Cards -- and the editor (usually with a chewed-up stogie in his mouth) is saying, "I want this story double-checked and triple-checked before THIS newspaper runs with it!" How trite. How passé. How unimaginative. Find an unnamed source or make one up, print the story, and bask in the increased circulation. What's the downside ... a retraction 2 months later on page 34? We actually have a constitutional amendment protecting this misuse of free speech? If the U.S. Supreme Court allows the regulation and licensing of gun owners under the second amendment, maybe it's time we do the same with the MSM under the first.
#10. To: misterwhite (#9) (Edited) It's funny. You watch some old movies -- even the latest season of House of Cards -- and the editor (usually with a chewed-up stogie in his mouth) is saying, "I want this story double-checked and triple-checked before THIS newspaper runs with it!" More accurately, the editor would say, "I forbid any effort to double-check or triple-check this story before THIS newspaper runs with it". Print it all in bold headlines on page 1. Print any retractions on page 73A in fine print in the want ads weeks later after the story has registered with the low-info voters (most of whom will never even notice the retraction). At most, fire a minion or two and put up with a little scolding from the house ombudsman. I'm really not exaggerating here.
#11. To: Tooconservative (#10) At most, fire a minion or two ... Noooooo. Not the minions. They're so cute!
#12. To: Tooconservative (#0) stating that the assessment was only from the NSA, FBI and the CIA.
Well these are the only 3 that matter... Nevertheless, the investigation of Trump's potential collusion with Russia's interference remains valid, no matter what Klinton got wrong.
#13. To: Willie Green (#12) Well these are the only 3 that matter... so there's no reason to get bent out of shape over whatever Hillary got wrong... she's irrelevant anyway... Not so fast. We heard Dem after Dem, gushing over "all 17 intel agencies confirm that Russia hacked or tried to hack our elections". It played for weeks, months really. Now we finally have an admission that it was not 17 agencies (helmed by 0bama appointees). It was just three. Yes, that is news and well-worth noting. These were not claims made in National Enquirer or Infowars. It was the Slimes and WaPo leading the pack with plenty of supporting clips from libmedia on all their outlets. Completely phony. And they knew it all along as they kept shoveling out their #FakeNews.
#14. To: redleghunter (#1) Another piece of evidence that if there was any collusion in the election and aftermath it was between the Hitlery campaign, DNC and US government agencies. That's the real story to pursue. Yes Sir. THE truth. And THE story. But believing the Deep State (controlled by 0bama-Moles), DNC, and several Goob agencies will self-incriminate is as big a pipe dream as the "NWO" ID'ing themselves. There will be no justice. America is infested like a Cockroach World Trade Center. Ripping out subversive elements an enemies from within would be far more difficult in OUR case than even penetrating and taking out Hitler's inner-circle, circa, 1940. How the Obama admin used US intelligence and other government executive arms (read IRS) to influence the election is more diabolical than an outside source hacking unsecure non-government political party mail.
10-4 again. "Diabolical" is no hyperbole. Your points are exactly what PO'd me as well as tens of millions of Americans. This smug punk and his America-Hating co-Marxist/Anarchists used Fed intel, LE, and every enforcement agy possible to intimidate, blackmail, threaten, and financial RUIN conservatives. WITH IMPUNITY. B0 and every one of his co-conspirators need to go the the gallows for Treason. Just for starters. Not a PEEP out of the Diabolically LYING media. OR unprincipled frauds like Wille Green.
#15. To: Willie Green (#12) You are a giant garbage-filled Hefty Bag with a mouth and keyboard. You are well past looking into a mirror and seeing a guilty, unprincipled LIAR.
#16. To: Tooconservative (#2) Notice how the Deep State used the discredited Pee Party rumor to jumpstart the entire Russia hacking fake news stories. Indeed. And the gullible 'faithful' of the state influenced media ate it up and ran with it.
#17. To: Tooconservative (#0) The all-17-agencies story was dumb as a rock from the very beginning. And yet we saw very little pushback on the credibility of this story from outlets like Breitbart or FNC. Difficult to "push back" when you are being bullied, threatened, blackmailed, and harassed from 0bammy's fleet of Gestapo Thugs.
#18. To: Tooconservative, Liberator, misterwhite (#9) It's funny. You watch some old movies -- even the latest season of House of Cards -- and the editor (usually with a chewed-up stogie in his mouth) is saying, "I want this story double-checked and triple-checked before THIS newspaper runs with it!" Post-modern editors are more like this guy who has a vendetta out for one individual:
#19. To: Liberator (#14) "Diabolical" is no hyperbole. Your points are exactly what PO'd me as well as tens of millions of Americans. B0 and every one of his co-conspirators need to go the the gallows for Treason. Just for starters. And I will add...If Putin really wanted to influence the election to Russian interests he would have destroyed Trump. Hitlery would prove to be a third term of destructive Zer0 Marxist policies which was weakening the US.
#20. To: redleghunter (#19) And I will add...If Putin really wanted to influence the election to Russian interests he would have destroyed Trump. Russians tend to always seek to create the most disruption, if nothing else than to demonstrate they can. Iran does the same sorts of things internationally. Russia thought Hillary would win. As did she. As did Trump. All were surprised by the three northern industrial states. Russia's interest in international meddling goes back beyond the Soviet era (when they certainly meddled around the world). But this tendency goes back further to the tsarist era. Look, for instance, at the Imperial Russian Navy and how they used it for circumnavigation and intimidation.
Look at that! Those durned Russians meddled in our Civil War! Those damned Cossacks! Russia likes to screw with the world, just to get attention if nothing else. It is enough for them to frustrate their rivals, more so than to actually engage in a war with them.
#21. To: Tooconservative (#20) Look at that! Those durned Russians meddled in our Civil War! Those damned Cossacks! Russia likes to screw with the world, just to get attention if nothing else. It is enough for them to frustrate their rivals, more so than to actually engage in a war with them. LOL. Forgot about the linkage to the Polish insurrection. Thanks for the history reminder.
#22. To: Tooconservative (#13) Not so fast. We heard Dem after Dem, gushing over F*ck the partisan bull manure diversions and obfuscations... Proceed with the investigation.
#23. To: Liberator (#15) And you're a cross-dressing homo...
#24. To: Willie Green (#22) Just a tiny fraction of time wasted by slobbering GOP bootlickers droning on about Bengazzi... I need to take long hot showers after reading your latest Marxist-propagandist horse-crap. Yeah Willie -- after all it wasn't YOU and YOUR kids who were hung out to dry, about to be executed as they were ignored and laughed at ON Camera IN REAL TIME back in the bowels of Muzzie-controlled DC. (Did you frame an 8X10 glossy of Amb Stevens battered body after he was sodomized, murdered, and dragged thru the streets -- BECAUSE Hitlery and your BFF, 0bammy refused to send nearby, timely help?) Speaking of fractions, you possess a "fraction" of honor and integrity as you continue to give cover to and aid and abet LIARS, THIEVES, and MURDERERS. How does your alleged conscience NOT bother you? The lives of patriots (in order to cover PARTISAN pro-Jihad, Democrat sedition, obstruction of justice, perjury, mass-murder and treason) were sacrificed for your ideological blood-lust. Oh -- and you're also conveniently overlooking the Hitlery/Rice/0bama fake BS cover-story that the Benghazi Annex was over-run because of an "inflammatory anti-Muslim movie". Q: Whose "boots" and azz are YOU licking, you dishonest, dishonorable slobbering Marxist-DRONE? (and how much $$ do you accept for selling your honor, your soul? OR...do you do it...FOR FREE?) As for all your past "GO PAT GO" bullshit at Free Republic -- masquerading as some kind of patriotic liberty crusader -- who knew you were an advocate for 0bama-Hillary Death Squads. Willie, does blood -- conservative, God-fearing American BLOOD -- get you off?? F*ck the partisan bull manure diversions and obfuscations... Proceed with the investigation. As though you actually GAS about "justice"? IF there were REAL "investigations," the entire Dem Party -- and especially Bammy's machination -- would be wearing Orange Jumpsuits for life, and/or sentenced as per the US Constitution for "TREASON". And frankly, many of Dubya's & Poppy's "associates" as well.
#25. To: redleghunter (#19) And I will add...If Putin really wanted to influence the election to Russian interests he would have destroyed Trump. Hitlery would prove to be a third term of destructive Zer0 Marxist policies which was weakening the US. Exactly. As 0bama promised during his open mic, Hillary would have bent America backwards in order that Putin and Russia do what it could to help further destroy and weaken US power and prestige... Hitlery's Presidency would indeed have been a third term for the Muslim Kenyan America-Hating, Whitey-Hating Marxist. No telling what kind of bloody chaos and revenge this crazy broad and her homo-fascist minions would have unleashed.
#26. To: Willie Green (#12) there's no reason to get bent out of shape over whatever Hillary got wrong... Sez the immoral, unethical, unprincipled troll who was home, safe and sound the very night Hillary shrieked with delight, watching desperate defenseless Americans overrun, outgunned and slaughtered at the Benghazi Compound. IGNORING ALL REQUESTS TO HELP. Btw, how "bent out of shape" would YOU be were your hovel stormed by thugs at midnight...FOR NO REASON...as LE stood by, filming, watching and laughing as you were punched, kicked, etc? Yeah...NO BIGGIE, eh?
#27. To: Liberator (#26) And you're still the same cross-dressing, toe-tapping homo that you've always been.
#28. To: Willie Green, Tooconservative (#22) F*ck the partisan bull manure diversions and obfuscations... Proceed with the investigation. Yes, stop the partisan bull manure diversions and obfuscations about a DNC hack, and investigate the LEAK to Wikileaks. Feel the bern.
#29. To: nolu chan, Willie Green, misterwhite, Liberator, redleghunter (#28) (Edited) Well, well, well... The Associated Press has joined the Slimes in confessing to journalistic malpractice. AP: Clarification: Trump-Russia stories, 6/30/17
The AP outdid itself for weaselly reporting with that "Not all 17 intelligence agencies were involved in reaching the assessment." Which is AP's way of saying "there were never more than 3 agencies involved". So they're still lying by trying to create a false impression, even in their "retraction".
#30. To: Tooconservative (#29) published by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence DNI James Clapper who explained his lies to Congress as being the least untruthful statements he was able to make.
#31. To: Tooconservative (#29) "reported that all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies have agreed that Russia tried to influence the 2016 election to benefit Donald Trump." I thought they tried, and failed, to hack the RNC server. So how can any intelligence agency conclude the intent of the hacks were to benefit Trump? What happened to "The Russians hacked the election?" Now it's "The Russians tried to influence the election." At this rate, the next revised accusation will be, "The Russians watched the election returns on Fox News Channel".
#32. To: misterwhite (#31) What happened to "The Russians hacked the election?" Now it's "The Russians tried to influence the election." Kind of like how "global warming" turned into "climate change". It's an old trick of the Left academics. When a term they've been pushing becomes too toxic with the public, they just give it a new label, claim it's all different now, and keep going. This is very familiar to those with experience in "education reform".
#33. To: Tooconservative (#32) This is very familiar to those with experience in "education reform". Or immigration reform. We're all for reforming immigration, right? Can I get an A-men?
#34. To: misterwhite (#33) Or immigration reform. We're all for reforming immigration, right? Sure. Deport the illegals, defund states/cities that subsidize or harbor them, end chain migration as well as terminating birthright citizenship for foreigners who shit a baby out on our soil so they can get a free ticket to stay in this country. Make the ending of birthright citizenship fully retroactive too.
#35. To: Tooconservative (#34) Sure. Deport the illegals, defund states/cities that subsidize or harbor them, end chain migration as well as terminating birthright citizenship for foreigners who shit a baby out on our soil so they can get a free ticket to stay in this country. Make the ending of birthright citizenship fully retroactive too. We often work with a Divison headquarters on post. They have a permanent UK Army liaison Major who works in their operations shop. He was joking the other day that all he needed was a willing American lady and he could get his anchor baby.
#36. To: redleghunter (#18) Post-modern editors are more like this guy who has a vendetta out for one individual You are an idiot, pal. All these MSM folks want are PROFITS based on their entertainment rags. Get a life.
#37. To: redleghunter (#35) He was joking the other day that all he needed was a willing American lady and he could get his anchor baby. Yeah but both he and you knew that he wasn't just joking.
#38. To: redleghunter, Tooconservative (#35) They have a permanent UK Army liaison Major who works in their operations shop. Yeah, that's no joke. He's hinting around for an introduction. His island is on the brink of the abyss, with socialism and a polyglot population pushing hard.
#39. To: Anthem (#38) Yeah, that's no joke. He's hinting around for an introduction. His island is on the brink of the abyss, with socialism and a polyglot population pushing hard. I wouldn't blame him. And we could a lot worse for immigrants than an English military guy.
