Humor Title: Frustrated by Trump's lack of leadership, Ivanka & Jared plot Washington exit You'd never know it, but it turns out Ivanka Trump isn't exactly loving life in the White House. According to the New York Times, Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, are frustrated by how little they've been able to achieve under her father's leadership, and have agreed to reassess their decision to relocate to Washington, D.C, every six months. The paper adds that Kushner is reportedly so unhappy he's telling friends neither he nor Ivanka have made long-term commitments to the White House, despite serving as White House Innovations Director and special adviser to the President respectively. Kushner's White House role has been under fire this week, when it was revealed he allegedly proposed that a back-channel be established to connect Donald Trump's presidential campaign with Russia in December. It's been reported he met with Russia's ambassador to the USA, Sergey Kislyak, at the time, and failed to disclose earlier phone calls with Russian officials. The pair are living in a $7.4 million (US $5.5 million) rental property in Kalorama, giving them the freedom to return to New York City if things don't improve in the latter half of the year. And it doesn't seem as though their Washington neighbours will be sad to see them go: A number of the couple's high-profile neighbours are reportedly furious at them and their enormous security detail for "ruining" the neighbourhood. According to the Washington Post, the family's Secret Service agents are loud and disrespectful, and the curb outside the home is constantly littered with rubbish. Earlier this month, citizens of the internet took Ivanka's "unprecedented" White House role to task, making fun of her title-less name tag at an anti-human-trafficking event. She was appointed as an unpaid federal employee and adviser to the President in March after some commentators raised concerns that she was wielding too much power over the administration. Chances are none of us will know for sure the true reasons this is happening right now,but I strongly suspect someone has been whispering in Trumps ear that his son in law and daughter are torpedoing his presidency,so he is sending them away to remove a weapon the left would use against him. And truth to tell,they had no business sticking their noses in there to start with. Neither has been elected or appointed to official government decisions,so they had no standing.
