As the Syrian conflict enters its seventh year, its finally dawned on EU officials that the fate of Syria has to be decided by the Syrians themselves and not by outsiders. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said Monday that the European Union will accept any decision made by the people of Syria regarding the future of their country, assuming that it will be deemed acceptable by all Syrians.

So you'd prefer Trump to send US troops to Syria to get gassed? Assad is propped up by Putin and no amount of sabre rattling is gonna make him back down... Trump doesn't have the credibility to make it stick... His only option to rid himself of his Russian entanglements is to backstab Putin with a preemptive strike on the Kremlin... Vaporize Moscow & Assad will capitulate.
