New World Order Title: Palin Dislikes Asians..Says her father! According to [her father], the presence of so many Asians and Pacific Islanders made her uncomfortable [when she went to school in HI]: "They were a minority type thing and it wasn't glamorous, so she came home."
Wow. Is this woman's head, and the Republicans who support her, filled with rocks or something? To: Nebuchadnezzar, *Politics and Politicians* (#0) Palin Dislikes Asians Uhhh, her husband and her children are part-Asian. Todd is part Eskimo, and this makes him a Asian genetically. Don't believe everything you read.
#2. To: sneakypete (#1) ?!? Ask an Inuit if s/he's Asian..
#8. To: war (#2) Ask an Inuit if s/he's Asian.. Don't much care what they say,the DNA doesn't lie. Most American Indian tribes are thought to be genetically Asian, also. If you REALLY want to start a uproar,go to one of the "I am a professional victim" Indian web sites and post that, and see the howls of outrage. Everybody is afraid of losing their "I am a minority victim" status.
#15. To: sneakypete (#8) Inuits and Asians are two different peoples. Alaskans like Canadians do not consider thme Asian. If Palin has an Inuit problem then she's got a problem with her husband...
#18. To: war, sneakypete (#15) Inuits and Asians are two different peoples. Did the Asians cross the landbridge to North America, or did the Inuit cross the landbridge Asia?
#20. To: Ibluafartsky (#18) Did the Asians cross the landbridge to North America, or did the Inuit cross the landbridge Asia? It's late,I'm tired, and it's been a long time since I researched this, but the Asians crossed the land bridge from Europe. The ones that kept going became Asians. The slackers that stopped part way became Eskimos. How bleeping lazy and lacking in ambition do you have to be to not walk out of the snow and ice like everybody else did?
#21. To: sneakypete (#20) The slackers that stopped part way became Eskimos. If they were slackers, they would never have survived. The Eskimos have to be some of the toughest most resourceful people in the world.
#27. To: Ibluafartsky (#21) If they were slackers, they would never have survived. The Eskimos have to be some of the toughest most resourceful people in the world. Yeah, they must be really smart and ambitious people. That's why they stopped where they were to live on sheets of ice instead of walking south like everybody else.
#33. To: sneakypete (#27) they must be really smart and ambitious people. Resourceful, tough and smart enough to survive in a hostile environment. How long do you think most people in the world would survive in the Arctic?
#35. To: Ibluafartsky (#33) How long do you think most people in the world would survive in the Arctic? Long enough to leave it for warmer climes? Do I win a prize?
#37. To: sneakypete (#35) Long enough to leave it for warmer climes? Some people just don't care for snakes, spiders, cockroaches, fireants, rats, skunks, 'coons, possums, sweating all day, air-conditioning and crowds.
#39. To: Ibluafartsky (#37) Some people just don't care for snakes, spiders, cockroaches, fireants, rats, skunks, 'coons, possums, sweating all day, air-conditioning and crowds. How would they have know anything about any of this 20,000 years ago when they decided to park it on the ice and eat blubber? As far as that goes, how do they know anything about it today, other than by rumor? If there has ever been a group of people with less ambition,I'm not aware of them. BTW,don't get me wrong on this. If they want to live a pre-historic life, that's fine with me. Just don't try to sell me on it's alleged "nobility".
#40. To: sneakypete (#39) As far as that goes, how do they know anything about it today, other than by rumor?
#41. To: Ibluafartsky (#40) The video doesn't play.
#44. To: sneakypete (#41) The video doesn't play. It was posted to inform you the Inuit have access to radio, television and the internet.
#46. To: Ibluafartsky (#44) It was posted to inform you the Inuit have access to radio, television and the internet. Thanks for helping to prove my point. They even know about civilization now and STILL choose to live in places smart, ambitious people would have and DID abandon thousands of years ago. And of course it also proves they are "maintaing our culture" with the aid of diesel powered generators, skimobiles, scoped rifles,Gore-Tex clothing,GPS devices, etc, etc, etc. You know what? This may not be very PC,but it is true none the less. Some cultures just aren't worth preserving because they are inferior.
#52. To: sneakypete (#46) They even know about civilization now and STILL choose to live in places smart, ambitious people would have and DID abandon thousands of years ago. Like Aslaska? Who was that states last Governor?
#53. To: war (#52) Like Aslaska? You speak with a lisp?
#74. To: Ibluafartsky (#53) You speak with a lisp? My diction is perfect. So are my puns...
