International News Title: Congresswoman Proposes Radical Solution to Refugee Crisis, “Stop Arming Terrorists” US Representative Tulsi Gabbard is proving to be quite the thorn in the side of the establishment warmongers. In January, Gabbard went on a secret trip to Syria to investigate first hand and to find the truth that the corporate media is covering up about the Syrian war. Since then, this brave congresswoman has remained steadfast in her mission to show Americans how their tax dollars are funding terrorism in the Middle East. In a press conference last week, Gabbard called on President Trump to “end the regime change in Syria,” adding that this is what is causing the refugee crisis. “The most important question is, how do we address the cause of these people fleeing their homes,” Gabbard stated before pointing to a bill that she’s submitted to Congress this year that would help in solving this problem. The bill’s premise to stop the refugee crisis is quite simple — stop arming the terrorists. “Stop Arming Terrorists Act,” or HR 608, would ban the use of US taxpayers’ funds to aid terrorist groups affiliated with Al-Qaeda or Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL). “For years, our government has been providing both direct and indirect support to these armed militant groups, who are working directly with or under the command of terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda and ISIS, all in their effort and fight to overthrow the Syrian government,” Gabbard said in an interview last Wednesday. During her visit to Syria in January, Gabbard met with refugees and victims of the US-backed Syrian regime change, who all asked the same question — why is the US funding terrorism. “I’ll tell you what I heard from the Syrian people that I met with, Jake, walking down the street in Aleppo, in Damascus, hearing from them. They expressed happiness and joy at seeing an American walking through their streets. But they also asked why the U.S. and its allies are providing support and arms to terrorist groups like al-Nusra, al-Qaida or al-Sham, ISIS who are on the ground there, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing the Syrian people. They asked me, why is the United States and its allies supporting these terrorist groups who are destroying Syria when it was al-Qaeda who attacked the United States on 9/11, not Syria. I didn’t have an answer for them,” Gabbard said, noting the clear dismay the average Syrian has for the U.S. support of al-Qaeda – a proposition which every American should equally question. “The reality is… every place that I went, every person that I spoke to, I asked this question to them, and without hesitation, they said, there are no moderate rebels. Who are these moderate rebels that people keep speaking of?
Regardless of the name of these groups, the strongest fighting force on the ground in Syria is al Nusra, or al-Qaeda and ISIS. That is a fact,” Gabbard said. As pro-war neocons — consistently beating the war drum in spite of never actually spending any time in the military — lash out at Gabbard for her Syrian trip and proposed legislation, other members of Congress, who’ve actually been in the military (like Gabbard), are showing their full support of the bill. Representative Tom Garrett (R-Virginia), a US Army veteran, is one of those supporters who said that the goal in Syria should be peace. “Tulsi understands that arming the so-called ‘rebels’ in Syria has only led to more bloodshed, more suffering, and created more refugees,” Tima Kurdi said in a statement on Tuesday. “A military solution in Syria is not the answer. I hope that President Trump will stop arming terrorists and commit to a political solution in Syria—it is the only way to restore peace.” Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest US Representative Tulsi Gabbard is proving to be quite the thorn in the side of the establishment warmongers. In January, Gabbard went on a secret trip to Syria.. Un,huh. That sounds like a variation of "Once upon a time",to me. There is no such thing as a congresscritter making a secret trip to the grocery store, never mind a foreign country where there is fighting going on. I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest the security team and the aides that went with her may have been noticed,as well as the security team that met her and her aides at the airport, and the armed convoy that took them to either the US Embassy,or the nicest hotel in the Capitol, where there were rooms reserved in her name. Thanks for the useless reply, sneaky-fed. You find something you disagree with and call it a “useless reply.” So typical….anything is a useless statement when it is something that you don’t agree with even when it’s the truth. Pete is correct, the is no such thing as a congresscritter making a secret trip to a foreign country where there is fighting going on. By law, the congresswoman had to file disclosure forms related to her sponsored trip with the House Committee on Ethics. There is no secret about Gabbard’s trip but there is: The mystery surrounding Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard’s trip to Syria. Furthermore, Tulsi Gabbard, a Democratic Congresswoman from Hawaii, still hasn’t been fully transparent about Syria visit….her controversial "fact- finding" mission is facing criticism once again because of missing documents in a House Ethics filing. By law, the congresscritter needed to file disclosure forms on her “sponsored” trip….she did, but some of the paperwork was missing. Important details like forms that shed a bright light on who sponsored her trip and the details of her agenda. Gabbard traveled in Lebanon and Syria between Jan. 14 and Jan. 22. Two men who accompanied her delegation drew suspicion: Bassam "Sam" Khawam and Elias Khawam….the two brothers sponsored her trip, board members of a somewhat- obscure group named the Arab American Community Center for Economic and Social Services (AACCESS-Ohio). It has been reported that in Bassam Khawam facilitated the mission as essentially a pro-Assad PR trip.
The Daily Beast straight up called the Khawam brothers fascists because of links to a pro-Assad Lebanese–Syrian political party called the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP). The Daily Beast's conclusion was similar to Rogin's: that Gabbard's Syria trip was an attempt to whitewash Assad's crimes. In response to criticism over the ethics of her trip's financing, Gabbard now says her office will reimburse the Ohio-based group for the trip's costs. Isn’t that wonderful … So to you saying: Thanks for the useless reply, sneaky-fed. I say to you: Thanks for posting this fake news and yellow journalism garbage article from The Free Thought Project
#4. To: Gatlin, Deckard, sneakypete (#3) Or how everyone is a "fed" because they do not tote the crazy line of seeing conspiracies everywhere. I personally think Deckard is a fed!!! ;)

He definitely is an antagonize who constantly attempts to divert the forum article content and chats away from issues at hand and towards a libertarian anarchist agenda.

The pattern of strong evidence is definitely there. His morning routine is well programmed and firmly established. If he is not being paid, then he is irrefutably a “groupie” doing it pro bono … But he has trouble with his "springboard deflections" to another point....they are not effective. You have of course noticed that ...
#10. To: Deckard (#0) Tulsi Gabbard Someone who murders children doesn't deserve a voice. She should be on trial for accessory to murder. She is a cunt.
#11. To: Gatlin, dexter (#3) Gabbard traveled in Lebanon and Syria between Jan. 14 and Jan. 22. She is for murdering American children. She probably took some poison there or some dirty bombs or something.
#12. To: Deckard (#8) Thanks for posting this fake news and yellow journalism garbage... Who are the people in the photo with McCain? What are their jobs? Are they ISIS? Do you have proof? Are they maybe not terrorists? How do you know? Ever been to Syria?
#13. To: Gatlin (#9) The insanity is still strong with you today. I post topics that are of interest to me - at one time (before you fascist pricks took over the site), all topics were up for discussion. #17. To: Deckard (#0) Why didn't the cunt offer articles of impeachment for Obama? Because she is a pos.
#18. To: Deckard, A K A Stone (#14) You do realize that at one time, Trump considered her for a position in his administration, right? #23. To: Deckard (#18) (Edited) You do realize that rump That was a funny typo ... I seem to make more of those lately since I am undergoing eye surgery. Blame my one cornea transplant, thus far, for the typo. They must have given me the poor vision of some democrat or libertarian asshole. But I still have the great brains of a conservative and looks better than any Hollywood male star. Those can never be replaced or improved on ...
#24. To: A K A Stone (#22) She is a wuss ... A Hawaii group is calling her out for not offering more opportunities for her constituents to ask her tough questions. Also, she gave the keynote address at Sunday’s Muslims for Peace 10th Annual Conference.
#25. To: Gatlin (#23) libertarian asshole. You're a one-trick pony simpleton. But I still have the great brains of a conservative. #28. To: Deckard (#26) Oh my goodness - muslims for peace? It is not possible for muslims to be for peace. The Koran clearly teaches them to kill christians and jews. There are some who call themselves muslims who are not muslims but are peaceful.
#29. To: Deckard (#26)
Judging from the brothers that paid for her trip to Syria. plus the crowd she addresses and hangs out with....I think you may be correct.
#30. To: A K A Stone (#27) Are true conservatives for drug legalization? Some are - even Trump has said that. Conservative should be against the war on drugs if for nothing else constitutional principles. The Conservative Case For Legalizing Marijuana Regardless of whether one accepts the individual-liberty case for legalizing marijuana, the consequentialist case is convincing. That is because the history of marijuana prohibition is a catalogue of unprofitable tradeoffs: billions in enforcement costs, and hundreds of thousands of arrests each year, in a fruitless attempt to control a mostly benign drug the use of which remains widespread despite our energetic attempts at prohibition. We make a lot of criminals while preventing very little crime, and do a great deal of harm in the course of trying to prevent an activity that presents little if any harm in and of itself. I take a more pragmatic view that the nation would be better off if all drugs were legalized and strictly regulated - minimum life in prison for selling to anyone under the age of 21. “Truth is treason in the empire of lies.” - Ron Paul![]() Those who most loudly denounce Fake News are typically those most aggressively disseminating it.#31. To: Gatlin (#29) Yeah - by all means. Let's not encourage Muslims to be peaceful. “Truth is treason in the empire of lies.” - Ron Paul![]() Those who most loudly denounce Fake News are typically those most aggressively disseminating it.#32. To: Deckard (#30) off if all drugs were legalized and strictly regulated - minimum life in prison for selling to anyone under the age of 21. So if you are 21 and you sell some pot to a 20 year old you get life in prison. Sounds more harsh than misterwhite.
#33. To: Deckard (#31) Let's not encourage Muslims to be peaceful. Muslims are peaceful sometimes When they are RIP.
#34. To: Deckard, A K A Stone (#30) Are true conservatives for drug legalization? Yes, he did that back in 1990….you are so outdated and wrong on almost everything you post. Trump has become enlightened as evidenced by his selecting Sessions as attorney general and Kelly as the secretary of homeland security — it's clear that the Trump’s thinking around the issue has shifted drastically. Let’s see where this all plays out now. Go, Sessions….GO.
#35. To: A K A Stone, Deckard (#12) Who are the people in the photo with McCain? Deckard, you need to answer Stone's questions....you posted the picture.
#36. To: Gatlin (#35) I called McCains office and asked why he was photographed with terrorists. The guy on the phone got pissed and hung up.
#37. To: A K A Stone (#36) I called McCains office and asked why he was photographed with terrorists. The guy on the phone got pissed and hung up. Then Deckard should answer the questions ... You deserve answers to your questions.
#38. To: Gatlin (#35) (Edited) Angry McCain Admits Meeting With ISIS, Scolds Rand Paul For Not Knowing Terrorists In an appearance on Fox News Monday (September 15, 2014), McCain was asked to respond to Paul’s comments earlier in the day, when the libertarian leaning Senator told CBS’ This Morning that arming Syrian rebels would only empower ISIS in the long run. And that’s when things got weird. “Has Rand Paul ever been to Syria? Has he ever met with ISIS? Has he ever met with any of these people? No, no, no,” McCain said, clearly in reference to his own visit to Syria in 2013, where he was photographed with leaders of the Free Syrian Army, the fighters violently opposed to the Assad regime. John McCain Accidentally Admits He Met With ISIS Members
Senator John McCain appeared on Fox News and seems to have slipped up, accidentally confirming that the Syrian rebels he met with, did in fact have ties to ISIS. This was a foregone conclusion to people in the know in Syria who recognized General Salim Idris, the head of the Free Syria so-called “moderates”, who was in fact kicked out for being “too moderate.” To the far left of the promo pictures used by rebels linked with ISIS, we also saw Khalid al-Hamad who is none other than the infamous “heart-eater” featured in a viral video where he cut out and ate the heart of a Shiite victim of ISIS in Syria. Still, people who have never been to the region, not interviewed a single fighter in Syria were quick to denounce claims of McCain’s posing with ISIS members as a “conspiracy theory.” “Truth is treason in the empire of lies.” - Ron Paul![]() Those who most loudly denounce Fake News are typically those most aggressively disseminating it.#39. To: Deckard (#38) (Edited) John McCain Accidentally Admits He Met With ISIS Members Bullshit....that's fake news!!!
