Is Free Republic really a free and conservative website? I think not. Yesterday I was summarily kicked off the website with no reason whatsoever. I believe there are some FR adherents who are sick and tired of the gestapo clique that evilly and anonymously controls and attacks anyone that does not post what they wish to see. Many are afraid to post as the fear is that they will be kicked out, or treated like HS sophomores and given time outs until they come to their senses. Moderators exercise their prejudices and engage in abusive and hateful behavior. Draining the swamp should include draining the Free Republic Website. Jim Robinson, owner of freerepublic.com, uses Google Analytics, a VERY expensive piece of software that tracks users between sites. So, if you go to Amazon.com, Jim knows you go there. It is how he knows when people go to anti-freeper sites. He gathers all kinds of information about your Internet travels, Given this, the indications are that FR is forever vigilant and forever watchful and is an organization that delights in kicking those who won't adhere off their website.

Free Republic isn't free. It's owned by Jim Robinson. He does with it as he pleases. This site isn't free either. It's owned by A K A Stone. Stone is as opinionated as Robinson, but Stone tolerates a great deal more dissenting views. As a result, though smaller, Liberty's Flame is a much freer site.
Many here have suffered the same fate, so you're preachin' to the choir. If you were given the reason I highly doubt you would have accepted it, so that's a moot point. The bottom line is that it's his forum -- his rules. He lives and dies by donations from posters, meaning that at some point they'll dry up.
Do any women post at Liberty's Flame? Besides FireIsland that is.

I wasted way too many years there... until Stumpy Robinson decided he was more "conservative" than Paul Weyrich and that passenger trains were a pinko, marxist communist plot... No, I was overtly stating that, as far as I know, there are only males currently posting here. Doesn't have to be that way, but I think it is. Now I think that, perhaps, you are a female. If so, then I guess I am incorrect. There is one woman, at least, who posts on LF. I don't know of any others.

I was banned after six years this past summer. I posted an article on FR which showed law enforcement's preferential treatment of Hispanic drivers in Florida who caused fatal accidents resulting in the deaths of innocent white Americans. The article concerned the death of a 21 year old pregnant white woman who was run over by a Hispanic male driver at 6 in the morning while she was crossing a street in Gibsonton, Florida. The woman and her 9-month old unborn child were both killed. The police exonerated the male Hispanic driver even after he had left the scene of the accident. What really torqued me however was the tone and tenor of the comments on the article left on FR by the Freepers themselves, who were unanimously defending the driver. There was absolutely NO sympathy expressed by anyone for the victim or her child. Because I called them on that fact, Jim Robinson on the advice of one of his moderators, banned me from the FR site.
