The Democrats War On Women
Title: Campaign manager: Trump would be willing to do another debate (presumptive loser grasping at straws - do over) Getty Images Donald Trump's campaign manager says the GOP presidential nominee is willing to do another debate against Hillary Clinton. "The debates are a very unique opportunity for all of America to see these candidates side by side. And I wish there were more debates," Kellyanne Conway said in an interview with John Catsimatidis on Sunday. "I think Donald Trump would challenge Hillary Clinton to another debate for a very simple reason: Unless you are a money donor, you are not going to have much access to Hillary Clinton out on the stump now," she continued. "So, to give people a free opportunity to see them side by side and have them really mix it up on the issues to me is the purest form of democracy," she said. Trump and Clinton appeared in their third and final scheduled debate Oct. 19 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The Democratic nominee later mocked as "comedy" Trump's claim that he won the last debate. In her Sunday interview, Conway also criticized Clinton for a negative campaign against Trump, stating that most of the anti-Trump ads have no policy substance or an uplifting message. "We noticed that Hilary Clinton spent $66 million on ads in September alone. She's doubled the amount of money spent on ads from August to September. Most of it is the politics of personal destruction against Donald Trump. Very little, if any of it, is an aspirational uplifting message that people normally associate with the preferred presidential candidate," she argued. Conway said that she believes the polls will tighten closer to Election Day, Nov. 8, and that the Republican nominee can rally more support by focusing on policy. "With Hillary Clinton, people already have a reason to vote against her ... they are just looking for a reason to vote for Donald Trump, and that's what he needs to provide by giving policy prescriptions at these rallies, and these forms and also ... thought forms like the debate itself this past Wednesday," Conway said. I'm actually impressed!

#4. To: hondo68 (#0) (Edited) Trump would be willing to do another debate (presumptive loser grasping at straws - do over) Trump fell on his ass three times in a row by not presenting the issues properly. In addition, the debate formats were stacked against him and in favor of Hillarys two minute sound bite superficiality. Trump was in a winning position going in. He was in an increasingly losing position after each debate. He should have turned a deaf ear, declined the debates, and gone quietly continuing his own business. When you are in a winning situation, you don't change roads. He needs another debate as much as I need a second belly button. He doesn't know how to stand up to Hillary and kick her fat ass. He doesn't have a quick or incisive enough mind to do it.

This reminds me of a delusional freeper who said during the primary that Trump might avoid all the debates because his win against Hillary was going to be so easy. Over at Trump-Republic they are desperately looking for cable shows that only tell them positive things about Trump and this race, Hannity is a favorite, Fox and Friends is another.

#8. To: misterwhite (#5) How about a fourth debate with Hannity or Rush as moderator? It's a bit late for that now. I'd like to have seen a debate that starts with the question, "Give us your position on economics. You each have up to 15 minutes. In each instance we'll start with Hillary Clinton followed by Donald Trump. Stick to the topic." Hillary couldn't speak on anything longer than four minutes with substance. When rote repitition of glittering phrases and slogans is over, she's ausgespielt. Regnery publishers will have received my comments on the 2016 presidental election today that covers each of the four principle major areas and could be used by Trump to crush Hillary. Her handlers would need to carry her away in a plastic bag.
#9. To: rlk (#8) "... she's ausgespielt" Gesundheit!
#10. To: rlk (#8) "Give us your position on economics. You each have up to 15 minutes. In each instance we'll start with Hillary Clinton ..." You'd get her standard one minute answer followed by 14 minutes of trashing Trump.
#11. To: misterwhite (#10) "Give us your position on economics. You each have up to 15 minutes. In each instance we'll start with Hillary Clinton ..." That's where the debate moderator comes in. Stick to the topic. No namecalling or deviation. If you have nothing more to say regarding the topic, your microphone is shut off and it's Mr. Trump's time to begin.
#12. To: rlk (#11) "If you have nothing more to say regarding the topic, your microphone is shut off and it's Mr. Trump's time to begin." The moderator should have control of a large, visible, two-position switch that selects which microphone is on -- either "A" or "B", but not both. In the mid- position both microphones are shut off. The moderator reads the question then flips the switch. A large, visible, two-minute timer counts down. Upon reaching zero, the switch automatically springs back to the mid-position.
