The progressives are whining how Trump has not paid taxes in 20 years but on the on hand they laughed when Buffet said his secretary pays more income tax then he does! He has paid taxes - property taxes. Lots of them. He hasn't paid INCOME taxes. Many people act as thought Income Taxes are the only tax that matters, but that's just blind foolishness.

Most of it goes to people sitting in big soft chairs and is the same as an income tax.

That's right, but property tax does not show up on your federal income taxes. So, somebody illegally leaked part of Donald Trump's federal tax returns to the media, and Hillary Clinton, on cue, is pounding at Trump's legal use of tax write-offs. Trump pays a fortune every year in property taxes, though. Hillary won't have to address that, because it's not on Trump's federal return, as those are not federal taxes. Meanwhile, Hillary and her husband earn a quarter-billion dollars in a few years from being paid off for political influence. And where is the New York Times on that? Silent, of course. The Democrat New York AG shuts down Trump Foundation fundraising, but the Clinton Foundation, which has engaged in naked influence peddling, gets a bye from the federal justice department, even as Hillary gets a bye from the FBI. The corruption is overwhelming. The only way to rebuke it is to vote for Donald Trump.

Replies to Comment # 15. I have little faith that the nation can be saved. The nation isn't going anywhere. There's no foreign army that can invade and conquer: nuclear weapons preclude that. That means that the entity will endure. It may be a dark and terrible place - my hometown of Detroit was a vibrant and wealthy place when I was a kid. Look at it now - but it's still THERE, and America will still be here. Reforming it? If Hillary Clinton and the Democrats win this time, they will capture the Supreme Court, and with the White House and the Supreme Court, the FBI, CIA, IRS and Justice Department under their command, they will rule by fiat. Congress cannot stop anything, or even much slow it, if the Supreme Court rules the President's executive actions legal, and directs the Treasury to pay out thus and so. Control won't be able to be taken back at the ballot box, because those agencies of control will crush any opposition that begins to rise. If Hillary wins, it's over: we have one party rule with no peaceful means to change it. If Trump wins, the game is still alive, the ball is still in play, even if he bobbles it. The defeat administered to the Democrats and the crony capitalists will be massive. Trump SHOULD follow up with prosecutions, to actually go AT the power structure and start tearing it up by the roots, using prosecutorial power and courts, Congress and Executive Departments that HE will control. It all comes down to what the American people want. If they choose Hillary and the Democrats, and the future can be easily charted out. If they choose Trump, the future is cloudier, but has the possibility of greater brilliance than we currently have on tap.
