Title: Trump's hard-line stance on immigration may hurt the GOP for generations to come

Donald Trump’s passionate revival last week of his hard-line stance on immigration looks more and more like a political disaster for the Republican nominee and his party. Trump’s angry speech in Arizona, in which he promised to deport not only criminal aliens but millions of other immigrants living in the country illegally, prompted at least three members of his Hispanic Advisory Council to resign. It instantly became fodder for Democratic efforts to mobilize millions of Latino voters in swing states such as Florida and Nevada. And it probably didn’t convince many undecided voters that Trump can be a unifying force in a deeply divided country.

But winning undecided moderates may not have been Trump’s goal. Instead, his former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, said on CNN that the speech was aimed principally at “white males,” to ensure “he has locked them in.”

Where do you get that from this article?

A government strong enough to impose your standards is strong enough to ban them.

Or it may save the GOP, and the country.

It's a high stakes gambit, a frontal assault. He'll win and change the country, or he'll lose and the GOP will crater for good.

It's all on the roll of the die, and the die is cast.

It sure as hell well at the rate we're letting invaders in under immigration reform. The people we started with 25 years ago are being dwarfed into being being a minority by the massive influx of hostile incompatibles. That's the strategy that was intended.

Fixed it.

No it won't, if it's done properly. By the law. Every white man and black man in this country is an immigrant, from somewhere else. Worked for 300 years, and it can work for 300 more if done by the law, which was a good one too.

Dropping 500,00 immigrants from somewhere else just so they can be here and not somewhere else because they are starving is not good national policy. Opening borders just to have cheap labor, is not good policy.

Having people coming to this nation because they want to be US citizens is good policy.

Trump doesn't agree - he says we should "select immigrants based on their likelihood of success in U.S. society and their ability to be financially self- sufficient." And I agree with him on this.

A government strong enough to impose your standards is strong enough to ban them.

U.S. immigration law has had as its purpose for many years the protection of the dominant culture through slow and measured and limited assimilation of aliens into our culture. This goal has been the same for many European countries as well. But the recent forced migration of hordes of Middle Easterners into cultures they are inimical to, and incompatible with, has destroyed that goal. Acculturation and adherence to the dominant culture is now seen as RACIST by school systems and the federal government appointees. Any policy which dilutes and weakens the dominant white European culture such as diversity and uncontrolled borders now becomes the moral imperative. There is a visceral hatred for white America and it is masquerading as strict unbending federal policy.

Or did you interpret that differently?

"Trump’s angry speech in Arizona, in which he promised to deport not only criminal aliens but millions of other immigrants living in the country illegally ..."

Since there are many millions here, the doesn't add up to "all." Brush up on those math skills.

A government strong enough to impose your standards is strong enough to ban them.

If he said "all" and missed one illegal you'd call him a liar.

You argue like a 6-year-old. Either step it up or stop wasting my time with your inane posts.

If he said "all" and missed one illegal

"Missing" is a red herring - he's stated that he's leaving up in the air the disposition of some illegals:

"And the establishment of our new lawful immigration system then and only then will we be in a position to consider the appropriate disposition of those individuals who remain.

"That discussion can take place only in an atmosphere in which illegal immigration is a memory of the past, no longer with us, allowing us to weigh the different options available based on the new circumstances at the time."

stop wasting my time with your inane posts.

Don't like them - don't read and don't respond ... Hell, block me.

A government strong enough to impose your standards is strong enough to ban them.
