I have watched Demoncraps bash Trump. I have watched the MSM bash Trump. What I see is that in the end if the good hard working people do not stand up and fight progressives. We are condemning ourselves and in reality throwing away our children's lives because of our pride. If Hillary wins its over for the GOP, conservative movement and America all in one stupid elections. Well its not really one elections but many elections built up to one major blow to America because of the short sighted people worried about what people will think of them if they actually stand their ground and say no to the most corrupt person to ever hold an office. Yes Trump is an ass but being an ass is not the same as be an ass and the most corrupt person in history. All I can say is set aside your pride and step back and see the big picture. If Hillary is elected the GOP will not stop Hillary but embrace her and her corrupt progressive ways while America burns to the ground. Big picture.......ok If the republicans don't find a way to force their nominee to stop being such an ass......the result will be a Clinton victory in November. Donald is struggling to even keep the support of his own party infrastructure! and is doing nothing to convince the Obama swing voters to rally to his campaign - and there simply aren't enough angry, old white guys to deliver the battleground states.... With Clinton in the White House - that will mean the Democrats will need to win just 4 seats out of the 24 currently held by Republicans and up for grabs this election cycle......fairly good chance this will happen, Democrats control Senate, the House remains GOP. So - it is likely that Garland's nomination will stand, and he will be confirmed as the ninth SC Justice. Garland is moderate, and will probably seldom vote with the more right-leaning justices......for those on the right, disappointment - for those on the left mild disappointment. - No more appointments before 2020. Forget about the election-year hyperbole about the USA "burning to the ground" - in reality the next 2-4 years under Clinton will be much like the last 4 years - slow but steady growth, gridlock in congress (although not as bad), which will produce a slowly shrinking deficit - unless the congress can come to some agreement on an infrastructure mega-project (doubtful) or an escalation of the the military mis-adventure in the ME (probable). There won't be any really radical legislation passed, because both parties will blame the other for being obstructionist. There won't be any constitutional amendments, no civil unrest, no fighting in the streets, or anarchy. The general population will be dissatisfied but complacent and nothing much will change. However, for the small percentage of the population that enjoys nothing more in life than to have reasons to whine, bitch, and complain - this will be a dream come true! This group will be reliving the salad days of the '90's! The Clinton body count will return, there will be bimbo eruptions, games of grab-ass in the White House, and more conspiracy theories than ever!! YAY! The sky isn't falling, Chicken Little..... However - you are correct on one count.... the GOP brand will forever wear the stain of the 2016 presidential campaign, and will struggle for relevance for years to come. Think about this for a moment - if it were not for the rules set up by the Democratic Party, there is a very good chance that Mr. Trump would be facing Senator Bernie Sanders in November. A Democratic Socialist - and the polling several months ago showed that Sen. Sanders would have beaten Mr. Trump quite easily. (take polling for what it is...)
