In 2015, more white Americans were 55 years old than any other age, according to a Pew analysis of the census data released Thursday. For comparison, among all racial groups, 24-year-olds outnumbered every other age, Pew reported.
The most common age for every minority group was younger than that of whites by several years: Blacks’ most common age was 24, Asians’ most common age was 33 and Hispanics’ most common age was 8.
The numbers reinforce the growing diversity of the American population. According to 2015 Census data, minority babies now also outnumber white babies by a fraction of a percent.
The median age for whites, 43, was also older than the median age for the total U.S. population, which is 37. Minorities as a whole had a median age more than a decade younger than whites: 31.
The bubble of older white Americans, according to Pew, is largely attributable to the “baby boom” after World War II that gave the generation its name. Baby Boomers outnumber Millennials among whites — a trend that is reversed in every minority group.
The largest share of people in every other group aside from white Americans belonged to the Millennial generation, Census Bureau data indicated. Non-Hispanic whites composed 61.6 percent of the U.S. population in 2015, and the largest slice — 27 percent — were identified as Baby Boomers, aged 51 to 69, according to the data. In comparison, 56 percent of minorities were 34 or younger.
The youngest group of all was multiracial Americans, of which nearly half were underage and which overall had a median age of 19. The most common age for multiracial Americans was also as youthful as possible: more multiracial Americans were 0 than any other age. (1 image)

Multiracialism really IS the way out of the racial mess. When people are born from several races, they are aware that they are each of these things, and have a different viewpoint on the whole matter than others do. It is similar to the children of Catholic and Protestant parents, or Christian and Jewish, or any other "cross-boundary" children - they're more accepting.
In the end, that is what brings the greatest peace among races and ethnicities - they blend and become something different, because the cross-boundary children are not interested in carrying the torch for either side. When your mother and your father fight, you don't want one to kill the other. You want them to stop fighting.
Whites are aging and dying out thanks to contraception. Same thing is happening everywhere in the world.

Actually, I know a great many and have throughout my entire, thoroughly integrated life. And few of them have been stereotypical.
I believe nature has as much or more to say about how 'accepting' (whatever you mean by that) as nurturing does.
From what I have read, genetics and imprinting predispose infants to prefer their own kind.

One of whom is black, and one of whom is white, which is why mixed-race people are more tolerant of both races. That's why the trend towards more and more mixed race babies is the ultimate long-term solution to the race problem.
As a society becomes more and more mixed race, it cares less and less about the cranky extremes of racism, because it matters less. Mixed becomes the dominant strain, and hard-core racist blacks and whites become the crazy minority exceptions, who are swept into the corner and ignored by the mainstream of the population, precisely as it should be.
Mixing of the races, miscengenation, destroys the biological basis for segregation. The more of it, the better.

LMAO. I actually thought that I heard John Lennon singing in the background as I read your post. You really are ignorant of the real world. Asians are the most bigoted and racist people that I ever met. They absolutely do not want mixing of the races. Muslims are the most intolerant people that I ever met. They absolutely do not want mixing of cultures. What percentage of the world's population do Asians and Muslims represent (HINT: Asia and Africa represent 75% of the global population?)
The majority of the problems of racism and intolerance is not between blacks and whites. Besides, currently whites only represent about 15% of the world population, blacks about the same. Whites are dying off while blacks are spawning like crazy (Africa is projected to grow from 15% of global population to 25% by 2050, with Asia, Europe and the Americas each declining - by 2050 Asia and Africa is expected to represent about 80% of the world's population).
