politics and politicians Title: First on CNN: Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe under federal investigation for campaign contributions Washington (CNN) — Virginia Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe is the subject of an ongoing investigation by the FBI and prosecutors from the Justice Department's public integrity unit, U.S. officials briefed on the probe say. The investigation dates to at least last year and has focused, at least in part, on whether donations to his gubernatorial campaign violated the law, the officials said. McAuliffe wasn't notified by investigators that he is a target of the probe, according to the officials. "The Governor will certainly cooperate with the government if he is contacted about it," said Marc Elias, attorney for McAuliffe campaign, in a statement to CNN. Read the remainder of the story here. Being who and what he is,IF the feds ever really get the "signed,sealed,and delivered goods" on him,you KNOW he will rat them out in a instant for a free ride/suspended sentence. Terrible Terry has to be sweating this one out because there are no positive outcomes for him. No way in hell are the Clinton's going to expose themselves any further by providing cover for him if the feds really do have the goods to put him behind bars. Then again,I CAN see the Clinton's bribing Bathhouse Barry to give Terrible Terry a full pardon on his way out the door.
