It's automatically assumed that Hillary would be ten times worse than Donald Trump as President. But is this assumption true? Who knows? We really don't know what to expect from a President Trump.
However, we do know what Hillary is all about, and Congress would at least be able to put some breaks on her.
Another very important thing to consider is Hillary's positions. They're really not a whole lot different than Trump's. In fact, I believe that if Hillary had exactly the same views and ran as a Republican, she would actually do quite well!

Here's my take: Arguing about who's worse - Trump or Hil-liar-y - is akin to arguing about what color - red or blue - to paint the house. The Democratic-Republican Party was formed by Thomas Jefferson and others who believed in an agrarian-based, decentralized, democratic government. The party was established to oppose the Federalists who had supported and pushed through the ratification of the US Constitution. The party came into power with Thomas Jefferson’s election in 1801 and held the nation’s highest office through the election of Andrew Jackson in 1824. Jackson’s election was contentious, however, with the party dividing its support between him and John Quincy Adams.
