The Establishments war on Donald Trump Title: How the worm turns Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has accused China of "raping" the US, in renewed criticism of China's trade policy. He told a rally in Indiana that China was responsible for "the greatest theft in the history of the world". Mr Trump, a billionaire businessman, has long accused China of manipulating its currency to make its exports more competitive globally. This, he says, has badly damaged US businesses and workers. "We can't continue to allow China to rape our country, and that's what we're doing," he told the campaign rally on Sunday. "We're going to turn it around, and we have the cards, don't forget it," he added. "We have a lot of power with China." China's complex relationship with Trump Trump favours high tariffs on China exports Mr Trump, in his campaign manifesto, pledges to "cut a better deal with China that helps American businesses and workers compete". He sets out four goals that include immediately declaring China "a currency manipulator" and putting "an end to China's illegal export subsidies and lax labour and environmental standards". Latest figures from the US government show the trade deficit with China reached an all-time high of $365.7bn (£250.1bn) last year. By February this year, it had already reached $57bn. There was no immediate response from Beijing to Mr Trump's comments, but he is seen by many in China as an inspiration rather than an antagonist, says the BBC's Vincent Ni. The man is mad, doesn't he understand foriegn policy even a little, including not showing your hand Donald Trump understands that a $500B annual trade deficit is not sustainable. This election is about the economy, stupid. Trump understands what ignrant liberals and sellouts do not.
#3. To: paraclete (#0) Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has accused China of "raping" the US, in renewed criticism of China's trade policy. It wasn't rape. It would more of a consensual screwing via the services of the Bush and Clinton Crime Families, who pimped out America's economy for pay. BOYCOTT PAYPAL AND CLOSE YOUR PP ACCOUNTS NOW! #6. To: sneakypete (#4) What Trump understands is how to profit from bankruptcy. Yes, he is a very competent business executive. We need a competent executive, not a jackass preacher.
#7. To: tpaine (#5) Pete, you've inadvertently nailed it. -- The USA is on the brink of bankruptcy, and Trump is just who we need to lead us out of it... That could be a good point in his favor if he actually gave a damn about the country or anyone but himself. He doesn't,though. He is a narcissistic sociopath, and the rest of the world exists to serve him. BOYCOTT PAYPAL AND CLOSE YOUR PP ACCOUNTS NOW! ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO DO SO,TOO! ISLAM MEANS SUBMISSION! That's like saying a child molester would make an excellent boy or girl scout troop leader because they "love children". COMPETENT business executives don't know anything about how to make money on bankruptcies because they ARE COMPETENT business executives and they make money from profits. #10. To: sneakypete (#8) COMPETENT business executives don't know anything about how to make money on bankruptcies because they ARE COMPETENT business executives and they make money from profits. Business executives who do not know how to use bankruptcy laws are INCOMPETENT, and become FAILED BUSINESSMEN. Banksters who make unwise loans or investments accepted the risk going in. There are only a precious few, like you, who feel sorry for banksters who make unwise loans or investments and get a chapter 11 haircut.
#11. To: nolu chan (#2) Donald Trump understands that a $500B annual trade deficit is not sustainable. nations go through times of trade surplus and trade deficit, and management of this is what government is about. What Dump doesn't realise is that this doesn't work the same as business because it is the result of the trading of thousands of businesses. If he wants to change the equation then innovation is needed to get away from these old products China is making and exporting. Dump thinks this is about currency manipulation, so if he wants to play China's game he needs to devalue the US Dollar. If he does that he might get a short term bounce in the US economy and the balance of trade but the US needs to sell more products it is good at making, Planes, Automobiles, Gadgets and stop buying crap from China, but who owns these plants in China? A question Dump needs to ask
#12. To: paraclete (#0) Your socialist loving yella articles are as retarded as your post responses. There must be a more libtarded political forum you fit better on... like Facebooks "being liberal" page. You disgust me. I'm gonna laugh when you are forced upon Trump like I've been forced upon Obunghole. I'm the infidel... Allah warned you about. كافر المسلح #13. To: nolu chan (#10) Business executives who do not know how to use bankruptcy laws are INCOMPETENT, and become FAILED BUSINESSMEN. You could also say that about a private citizen. I mean if a bank is willing to give you large loans and you simply walk away from them when the going gets tough, does that make you a savvy financial expert or a scoundrel? As a legal expert, you know it is possible. As someone else I also KNOW it is possible. Obama has played at being a president while enjoying the perks … golf, insanely expensive vacations at tax-payer expense. He has ignored the responsibilities of the job; no plans, no budgets, no alternatives … just finger pointing; making him a complete failure as a president #14. #17. To: nolu chan (#10) There are only a precious few, like you, who feel sorry for banksters who make unwise loans or investments and get a chapter 11 haircut. Seriously? Here is a tough question for you,so feel free to think it over overnight if necessary. Which one of us supports the narcissistic sociopath with the orange hair, big mouth, and tiny hands that has bankruptcy as a business model? Never mind the banks even though they also have investors that lose, but let's look at all the local merchants and the local workforce that mostly lose everything they have when the business goes into receivership and the bills they submit don't get paid? #19. To: A Pole (#18) (Edited) You are so wise and brave You are very discerning, but let me say that I beat up on communists, socialists and left leaning politicians just as much as I beat up on right wing gooks. In the days of Vietnam before I became acquainted with US duplicity, I was strongly in favour of US intervention there. The thing is there arn't many lefties here to beat up on and Dump provides an imposing target. What you should come to know is that until the emergence of Bernie there were few true socialists, since socialism anticipates the government ownership of enterprises. A true socialist government would have implemented a one payer solution in health care and taken over banking in the financial crisis/ American governments are not socialist, they demonstrate little concern for ordinary people To understand my point of view, you would need to understand my background. I cannot abide bullies and big mouth louts. For me Dump embodies the type and you can bet if he ever gains power he will beat up the little guy.
#20. To: sneakypete (#17) I'm sure you are under great stress as you have strenuously supported a failed psychopath candidate whose campaign cratered and had the last nail driven into its coffin last week. Today, the campaign of your candidate, asserted to have been presaged by a word given by almighty God, is being interred. Those living in the fantasy of a wingnut win must learn to cope with the reality. I have not endorsed any candidate but Buck's dead dog Scruffy. I have observed the inescapable truth that Donald Trump is winning, and he will win on the first ballot with over 1,300 delegates. Donald Trump overcame 16 other candidates, the GOP party bosses, the establishment pundits, the neo-conservative scumbags, and the asserted anointing of Ted Cruz by almighty God. And he beat the crap out of Ted Cruz in Indiana, as expected. As for your absurd rant, take a chill pill and learn to say PRESIDENT TRUMP.

Uhhhhhh, yeah. Why not tell me who I am supporting? Tell us all, while you are at it. learn to say PRESIDENT TRUMP. Never. I am even ashamed that someone else feels justified in saying it. As far as that goes, people will be saying "President Clinton" again before long. I guess this does answer the age-old question of "How low can we go?",though. A defacto result of the USD being the world reserve currency. It's made everyone want USD whien the US can simply print as much of it that's desired. Essentially it creates the same effect as a counterfeit operation, only it's legal. I.e. it allows unproductive part of the economy to extract goods and services from it without contributing anything in return. That's what the trade deficit actually reflects. Makes for a great vacation, but with a severe consequence when USD's aren't wanted any more.

nations go through times of trade surplus and trade deficit, and management of this is what government is about. Establishment brain trusts, such as yourself, have achieved huge trade deficits and $19 trillion in debt, 18T since 1981. It is slated to rise to $21T. What Trump realizes, along with millions of others, is that such debt is not sustainable.

Business executives who do not know how to use bankruptcy laws are INCOMPETENT, and become FAILED BUSINESSMEN. I said it about a private citizen. Business executives are private citizens. Many mortgages went underwater and it made no economic sense to keep paying for decades. Many Joe Citizens stopped paying and let the bank have the house. The citizens were not scoundrels. They did nothing unlawful. The banks did. As for chapter 11, it is used for reorganization. The alternative is dissolution of the company with a court directing liquidation of assets and the payment of pennies on the dollar. Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4 empowered Congress "To establish a uniform rule of naturalization, and uniform laws on the subject of bankruptcies throughout the United States." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_bankruptcy_law_in_the_United_States
The history of bankruptcy law in the United States traces back to 1800, after its reception from English law. As the legal regime for bankruptcy in the United States developed, it moved from a system which viewed bankruptcy as a quasi-criminal act, to one focused on solving and repaying debts for people and businesses suffering heavy losses. Using the bankruptcy law authorized by the Constitution and created by Congress does not make one a criminal or a scondrel. When a corporation is involved, it is the corporation, not the individual, which uses the bankruptcy law.
#32. To: nolu chan (#30) Establishment brain trusts, such as yourself, have achieved huge trade deficits and $19 trillion in debt, You want to include me in your saga of error, but the policies that I would follow are very different. Long ago the US swallowed the very silly idea that it could mortgage its future, and use long term debt to pay for short term objectives. Mr. Dump may understand that these debt levels are unsustainable, but short of shutting the place down, I haven't heard any policies that would reign it in and reverse the situation. Honestly, making your allies pay is a very foolish idea, what is he; a Mafia Don extortionist? When you realise that the nation is over governed,a price of this republican democratic utopia you might begin to understand what you have to do
#33. To: paraclete (#32) Honestly, making your allies pay is a very foolish idea, Pay up or China owns you bitch.
#34. To: A K A Stone (#33) (Edited) Pay up or China owns you bitch. I'll point you to the last twenty years and ask where did our prosperity come from, trading the US or trading with China? You live in a phantasy world, but reality out here in the real world is something else. You may have reason to fear China, but we don't. The yellow peril card has been played here and discarded. the only arse the Chinese own is yours

#37. To: Pinguinite (#24) "A defacto result of the USD being the world reserve currency." Pffft! Other countries buy our debt because it's the highest interest and most secure instrument out there. The dollar is 60% of the world's currency for a reason. Besides, no one says our currency has to be the standard. Iran now demands euros for it's oil, and Russia and China are calling for the same.
#38. To: misterwhite (#37) Pffft! Other countries buy our debt because it's the highest interest and most secure instrument out there. The dollar is 60% of the world's currency for a reason. It's widely accepted because it's the world reserve currency. And it's the world reserve currency because it's widely accepted. And the massive trade deficit that's been ongoing for generations will end it all.
Besides, no one says our currency has to be the standard. Iran now demands euros for it's oil, and Russia and China are calling for the same. Yes they are. And that's bad news for the USD. Very bad, but inevitable.
#39. To: Pinguinite (#38) "And that's bad news for the USD. Very bad, but inevitable." No. It's good. It means we're no longer raping the world. Right?

You want to include me in your saga of error, but the policies that I would follow are very different. Enjoy your socialist paradise.
Mr. Dump may understand that these debt levels are unsustainable, but short of shutting the place down, I haven't heard any policies that would reign it in and reverse the situation. You have been listening to yourself, which explains why you did not hear any policies that would reign it in.
Honestly, making your allies pay is a very foolish idea, what is he; a Mafia Don extortionist? Balanced trade is not a foolish idea. Trade with a $500 billion annual deficit is a very foolish idea. America First foreign policy will not permit that. An import tax is not extortion.
When you realise that the nation is over governed, a price of this republican democratic utopia you might begin to understand what you have to do Not elect a Democrat socialist or a GOPe establishment candidate, but I repeat myself.
