WORLD WAR III Title: 13 Democrats among 17 senators not on letter for increased Israel defense aid (83 traitors sign) The U.S. Senate logo. Credit: U.S. Senate. (JNS.org) Among 100 members of the U.S. Senate, 17 lawmakers—13 Democrats, three Republicans, and one independent—decided not to join the strong bipartisan support for a letter arguing that Israel should receive increased annual defense aid from America. The letter, signed by 83 senators and addressed to President Barack Obama, cites a number of security threats facing Israel that justify “investment in the long-term security requirements” forAmerica’s “closest Middle East ally.” Israel is hoping that its U.S. defense package will rise from the current $3.1 billion per year to between $4 and $4.5 billion annually, while the Obama administration has proposed a target of $3.7 billion. U.S. Sens. Chris Coons (D-Del.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) initiated the letter, which was not signed by the following 17 senators: Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.), Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Tom Carper (D-Del.), Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), Al Franken (D-Minn.), Tim Kaine (D-Va.), Angus King (I-Maine), Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), Rand [Paul] (R-Ky.), Jack Reed (D-R.I.), Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.), Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), John Tester (D-Mont.), and Tom Udall (D-N.M.). Poster Comment: Lindsey Graham's Senate website has all the gruesome details. http://www.lgraham.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/press-releases?ID=A86F71E2-A8CE-4A5A-9877-3A5B69198D7B The president doesn't fund things, so signing this letter is just political BS, but the message stinks. The good guys are listed above in the article. The bad guys are on Lindsey Graham's satanic globalist, senate website.(1 image) Subscribe to *Neo-Lib Chickenhawk Wars* Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest Begin Trace Mode for Comment # 25. The good guys are listed above in the article. The bad guys are on Lindsey Graham's satanic globalist, senate website. I couldn't agree more. We elect these loons to protect AMERICA,not foreign nations. Not even foreign nations with voters living here with the big bucks to fund political campaigns. END DUAL CITIZENSHIP'S NOW!
#7. To: sneakypete, Vicomte13, misterwhite, paraclete (#3) Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.)
That's wrong, Bernie is an Independent. They've demoted him to Democrat! He's noted as an Independent in the Senate roll call votes.
#8. To: hondo68 (#7) That's wrong, Bernie is an Independent. That's wrong, Bernie is a socialist piece of shit. There, I fixed it for ya.
#12. To: GrandIsland (#8) That's wrong, Bernie is an Independent. Careful,Bubba! You are coming out of the Clinton supporter closet! Is it because she supports homosexual police chiefs,or just your "New York State of (alleged) Mind"?
#15. To: sneakypete (#12) I like Bernie Sanders because he, like Donald Trump, recognizes that foreign wars have damaged this country grievously, bad trade agreements have wiped out millions of American jobs, and that this has come about because the super-rich control the political policy. Bernie gets those things right - none of the other Republican candidates does besides Trump. Bernie's old-style socialism is quaint and wrongheaded, but his foreign policy, trade policy and disdain for crony capitalism makes him a better candidate than any OTHER Republican candidate except Trump. Fortunately, the Republicans will have Trump. The Democrats will have Hillary. Trump will beat Hillary, and he will do it, in part, with Bernie Sanders supporters.
#24. To: Vicomte13 (#15) Why is it quaint and wrongheaded? I think Bernie's a nice man
#25. To: goodnessmarlok (#24) Why is it quaint and wrongheaded? I think Bernie is well-meaning. I suppose I could go through the places where his policy prescriptions go astray, but is it really necessary? He's not going to president or Veep. Maybe we can conserve time?
