Only 22 People Show Up For Senator Cruz Philadelphia Rally – Unstable Ted Starts Screaming on Radio Show (audio)…

Posted on April 19, 2016

Presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz had a full apoplectic meltdown today. During a radio appearance an unhinged Senator Cruz began lashing out and screaming at Sean Hannity. (full audio below) The internet lit up as people discussed the on-air meltdown wondering what could have possibly triggered such grossly unstable behavior.

Apparently the answer is found in this picture from Senator Cruz’s rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Only a few dozen people showed up to hear candidate Cruz – in a city home to over 1.6 million people.

UPDATE: It appears the Cruz campaign is trying to hide from such a horrible optic.

This is a transparent attempt to avoid an embarrassing failed event. Apparently not much support for Lyin’ Ted Cruz in the city of brotherly love.

Here’s the audio of unstable Cruz and his breathless meltdown:

I don't know what this event was or what the purpose was, but it looks like there are only about 30 seats available. So it would seem that the people who were supposed to show up did show up.

If by "well" you mean he refused to answer the question -- slick and slimy politician that he is -- then I agree.

Ted Cruz mathematically eliminated

from any chance to secure 1,237 bound delegates before the convention.

In New York, the presumptive candidate Donald Trump opened such a can of whupass, the now mathematically eliminated Ted Cruz was ignominiously relegated to third place, 45 points behind Trump and ten points behind John Kasich.

" Cruz did fine. "

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Especially if you like a lying, sleazy, never answer the question, politician, slip & fall lawyer. Sure Fred, sure.

Fred, I'm afraid you put your objectiveness back in the drawer on this one.

I am not a fan of Hannity / Vannity. But, fact is, he has bent over backwards to soft peddle with Cruz, and Cruz obviously got pissed at, and was rude to Hannity, would not answer Hannity's honest question about him getting delegates in Colorado when there were no votes. Kinda hard to claim you are an outsider, an that the establishment hates you, when you are the one that gained delegates without voters, which was engineered by the "establishment". And like a lying politician, gave an answer that was simply a campaign line attack on Trump, sticking to his political talking points, yet not answering the question. He did not want to answer the question because that whole matter makes him look bad. Colorado has been a PR disaster for Cruz & his toadys

Cruz claims he is concerned with bringing good paying jobs back to the US. Really ? Then why did he support TPP, which it has been widely claimed would cause more exodus of jobs from US to foreign nations? Could it be his wife's connections to Goldman Sachs & CFR? Surely not. And Cruz claims to be an outsider? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Cruz never even mentioned wanting to bring jobs back to the US until polls showed that was a big issue with US citizens / voters, and that Trump was gaining support on the issue. Then and only then did he talk about it, trying to look like it was all his idea.

To me, and I believe a lot of others, "Rat Face" came off as very untrustworthy. More like a politician/used car salesman.

Cruz was not very Christian like, for a guy that claims to be this big Christian.

You might buy Rat Face's bullshit, but I don't.

Donald Trump just made it impossible for Ted Cruz to clinch the GOP nomination

Philip Bump
Washington Post

How bad was Cruz’s night? He’s losing to Ben Carson in some places — a guy who hasn’t been in the race in weeks.

Cruz can still win the nomination on the first convention ballot, mind you, but he needs to win about 88.5 percent of the outstanding delegates, bound or unbound, per Daniel Nichanian’s excellent calculations. That's not likely to happen either.

Trump isn’t the only big winner tonight! Congratulations to John Kasich, who will almost certainly end up with his first delegate in more than a month. Can Kasich pull off a come-from-behind victory? No. The end.

but it looks like there are only about 30 seats available.

The event started almost an hour later than it was supposed to. I'd guess the reason for that was, so that they could remove the extra chairs so there wouldn't be a lots of empty seats showing.

Looks like they squeezed the 22 spectators into a corner.

sounds like Hannity went into meltdown ,not Cruz. Cruz gave the correct answer to each of Hannity's questions. Why should Cruz have to justify the process ? It is what it is . Cruz was smart enough to use it to his advantage.

As far as people being confused by the process ,Cruz should just say ;'An enlightened citizenry is indispensable for the proper functioning of a republic'.(Jefferson).In other words ;it is up to the electorate to educate themselves about the process.

Quite bad. I agree that Cruz is toast. As I stated a while ago IMO Trump will get the nomination on the first ballot even if he doesn't have 1237 going in. But that doesn't change anything about Dollar Donald being in the race to assure Hillary the WH and destroy the REP Party. He successfully completed the latter mission and is well on the way of completing the former.

I hope that you enjoy eight years (probably much longer) of absolute DRat control of all three branches of government.

I've been saying for weeks (maybe months) that Trump will certainly have a plurality of the delegates going into the convention and should probably be given the nomination.

This is, though, a private party whether anyone wants to believe that or not.

You support a corrupt system of undemocratic rules that disenfranchise millions of voters.

2004 Gore won the national popular vote and Bush won the election because of the results of the electoral college .That was the rules . If the Republican candidate wins the Presidency this year it will likely be similar to the 2004 election .

Is it 'unfair ' ? Maybe ;but the founders put the electoral college rule in there for a very good reason. They wanted a Federal Republic ,not a democracy .Do you think the system they set up is like North Korea ,Nazi Germany and Cuba ?

The electoral college is reflective of the fact that the USA is a union of states, and the people only exercise their sovereign power while acting as a political community, a state. The individual has no constitutional right to cast a popular vote for President, and none were cast in the early elections.

However, if a state choose to hold a popular vote, the process must be fair.

The GOP delegate selection process is governed by the GOP. It is not a public affair, it is a private affair. The GOP may make rules which are unfair. If they make rules that are unfair, they may be properly criticized for their unfair rules, and the people may vote with their feet. Donald Trump has observed unfair rules that disenfranchise voters to the benefit of the party elite, and has lit a blowtorch under the ass of Reince Priebus and the RNC.

Reince Priebus, the RNC, and anyone who defends the unfair rules will lose the public relations battle. Donald Trump has used this to bury Ted Cruz.

No doubt. But not as damaged as Trump. This year more than any other in my recollection going back to Ike the choice is between a mega-douche or a mega- turd sandwich. It is certainly too late for Hillary to change her image and probably so for Trump as well. There is plenty of ammunition on both sides to really get into a sh*t throwing pissing contest as we all know will happen starting sometime in May-June. In the end DRats have less moral and intellectual integrity than REPs and they will turn out in droves to vote for the first women POTUS. Not even an indictment (which will never happen) will dissuade Hillary/DRat supporters.

Trump should stop his belly-aching .He has benefitted from the rules he complains about . Before NY ,he won 37% of the votes cast in Republican primaries and caucuses, and got 46 %of the delegates. In NY he got 67 % of the vote and came away with almost 100% of the delegates . He got all the Florida and Arizona delegates even though he got a far less than half the vote in the primary .

So when he wipes the tears away he can reflect on how the rules have helped him in the contest and he should remember that winners don't whine.
