Dopey Don has done it again!

JUST when you thought you couldn’t love to hate him anymore, everybody’s best mate Donald Trump just delivered the gaffe to trump all gaffes.

Campaigning ahead of this week’s New York GOP primary, it happened when the Republican frontrunner was speaking of the September 11 terror attacks.

“I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen, down on 7-11, down at the World Trade Centre, right after it came down, and I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action.”

Wait... u wot m8?

That’s right, Donald Trump just mixed up 9/11 with a chain of convenience stores. As you do.

He did not correct himself and is yet to address the awkward blunder, but Twitter was all over it in a New York minute.

Oh man. You can only imagine what internet conspiracists will make of this one.

“We knew it! The 7-11 tragedy was a part-time job! Bubblegum slurpees can’t melt steel beams! The Illuminati is operating next to those dodgy meat pies in aisle four!”

Ladies and gentleman, this man is running for President of the United States. Kindly let that sink in.

It was a slip of the tongue. Who cares? Ted Kennedy called Obama "Osama". Again, who cares?

Really this was no biggie. It was a slip of the tongue. Now if he ever said anything like what Joe Biden said about 7 11 stores .Then he would get raked across the coals .

yeah that was bad ;or the fact that he was praising Penn State in Pittsburg. There are so many . Hard to choose which was worse . Was it the one where he said he saw thousands upon thousands of Muslims in Jersey City celebrating the destruction of the Twin Towers ? When he said his jet was bigger than Air Force One? When he said a golf course he renovated in Virgina was a historical site based on a battle where there was a river of blood ? When he told Chuck Todd he got his foreign policy experience by "watching all the shows " ?

Yeah, who cares?

When Obama said he had been to 57 states, no one let out a peep. But, that was because the MSM loved him. And the Repub's were too scared to say anything.

But, since hating Trump is the stylish in thing, everyone will want to make a big deal out of this.

I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS QUAINT THAT HE REALLY DIDN'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN EVENT THAT STARTED A WAR THAT IS STILL GOING ON AND A 24 HOUR CORNER STORE.

Who cares, I don't, if someone wants to elect someone who doesn't know his arse from his apex why should I care, I have bigger fish to fry because this fellow jumped in the pan and lit the fire himself, he doesn't need my help, but you might want to know that just like Bush, his gaffes are daily mirth for the rest of the world, in other words he is holding your nation up to ridicule

Trump gives plenty of opportunity to ridicule . But this one is petty ;a simple slip of the tongue.

Trump really, really, really needs to spend some money to hire a better team to surround himself with, and to give him better advice. His relying on himself as his best advisor is not cutting it.

He should think of it like putting up a building. He has the concept, but hires the best professional architects, engineers, lawyers, etc to deal with the nuts & bolts.

Not taking away any of the good he has done, but he does at times remind me of George Custer, too self assured of his infallibility.

Word was that at first Osama was very pissed off to be mistaken for Obama but then calmed down when he saw how much damage Obama was doing to the U.S.

His relying on himself as his best advisor is not cutting it.

Are you sure about that?

He has run away with the election since he declared. Nobody else is even close.

It is true that, because he is not a professional politician, with every phrase poll-tested, he doesn't sound like a politician. He is neither smooth nor polished. He makes mistakes and has to clarify. Sometimes he changes his mind.

But that's because he's an intelligent human being making on-the-spot decisions under incredible pressure.

The way he does it is impressive - unless you're demanding polish. But the country prefers his authenticity to polish, which is why he's running away with the election.

Today he's going to win about 95 delegates in New York. What more would he get had he spent a fortune and - this is key - EMPOWERED political hacks to get inside of his decision tree and start to CONTROL the candidate.

I don't want Trump CONTROLLED. I want him to be HIMSELF, to run on HIS ideas - which correspond to mine.

I want people to have to get used to/adjust to coarseness and the lack of polish.

All of these complaints about Trump I hear are because he's not politically correct. But that's the whole point. That's WHY he has run away with this election. He is NOT a politician. He's a successful American man who is entering politics BECAUSE our politics are BROKEN.

The LAST THING that the Americans need is for him to become another politician. He makes people uncomfortable who OUGHT to be less comfortable than they are, and Americans far and wide cheer.

Trump doesn't need to hire people to tell him how to be. Republicans need to adjust to the new normal, which is less polished, less refined, less walk-on- eggshells careful. When the politically correct start to protest, ridicule is the only way to defeat that sort of thing.

Trump is winning, and he's going to go all the way BECAUSE he's Trump, not in spite of this. What are we going to do, hire a bunch of faceless nobodies to tell a guy who has done what has never been done in American politics before how to act. Why do THEY know better than HIM? Have THEY ever broken the mold?

Trump's instincts are great. He should keep on trusting them. I know I do.
