WORLD WAR III Title: Colorado pieces of shit Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest
#2. To: A K A Stone (#0) Title: Colorado pieces of shit You can always move to Colorado, persuade both parties in the legislature that they should have a primary. Then you could persuade the CO GOP that they should bind their delegates. Colorado dumped their primary over 12 years ago, for both parties. The CO pols thought these primaries never made any difference and cost the state a lot of money to stage. Since then, the parties have each chosen their own candidates for state and national office. The GOP did hold a 'beauty pageant' straw poll at its convention that you might call "voting" in 2004, 2008, 2012. But it was non-binding on CO's delegates anyway. And most people didn't know or care because it made no difference. Now, despite this system being in place for almost 15 years and well-known to anyone who cares to learn the facts, people are complaining about it. Sore losers. If Trump wanted to win, he shouldn't have let Lewandowski fire his (inexperienced) CO delegate manager just because he called Manafort for info and advice. After that, Trump's entire campaign simply collapsed and couldn't even publish accurate lists of Trump delegates, not even after they were given extra time to revise their lists. Those lists consist only of delegate numbers, exactly as the video shows. When you can't even get organized enough to publish an accurate list of 3-digit and 4-digit numbers, you don't have a campaign. Or any right to complain about it. And Cruz showed up to make a speech (after a year of organizing CO party activists). Trump didn't show up at all.
#3. To: tooconservative (#2) You can always go and suck Ted Cruz's dick again.
#4. To: A K A Stone (#1) After a few Bronx cheers, Cruz is hiding out in California like a nervous poodle in a corner, quivering in a warm puddle of piss.
#5. To: nolu chan (#4) Actually, Cruz is quivering in a big pile of cash. It's his warchest for the final battle in CA.
#6. To: A K A Stone (#0) It's Game of Thrones. Cruz is Littlefinger. LIttlefinger loses in the end. As does Cruz.
#7. To: A K A Stone (#0) Trump and the Trumpsters really aren't doing themselves any favors by their constant whining about this. I guess those who think Cruz cheated also think that stealing bases in baseball is cheating. Parties set their own rules for appointing delegates in each State. It has always been that way. It just hasn't been apparent for a while because the elections have been coinciding with the Party expectations. Cruz simply played by the rules as they existed. If Trump is so adept at the "art of the deal," he should have had his ass in there convincing those delegates to side with him instead of crying about it now. Obama has played at being a president while enjoying the perks … golf, insanely expensive vacations at tax-payer expense. He has ignored the responsibilities of the job; no plans, no budgets, no alternatives … just finger pointing; making him a complete failure as a president #8. To: no gnu taxes (#7) (Edited) I guess those who think Cruz cheated also think that stealing bases in baseball is cheating. Stealing base in baseball is a shitty analogy. Every time a player attempts to steal a base, the opposing team has an oppertunity to tag him out. Winning a state while not even being half as popular as your opponent is like stealing a base while the other team is all in the dugout. Cruz can't beat KILLary... that sleazy high pitched voiced, pedophile sounding Canadian knows that. Trump is the only one that has the popular support to keep that socialist liberal cunt out of the White House. I'm the infidel... Allah warned you about. كافر المسلح #9. To: no gnu taxes (#7) Trump and the Trumpsters really aren't doing themselves any favors by their constant whining about this. It is disenfranchising the voters dipshit. If you want someone to rollover get in bed with Barneys frank.
#10. To: no gnu taxes (#7) I guess those who think Cruz cheated also think that stealing bases in baseball is cheating. That is just stupid.
#11. To: no gnu taxes (#7) I guess those who think Cruz cheated also think that stealing bases in baseball is cheating. It's a perfectly useful analogy. What is more telling though is how the Trumpkins talk down to you like thugs.
#12. To: A K A Stone (#9) It is disenfranchising the voters dipshit. You act like because polling booths are set up and people wait in lines that these primary elections are governed by election laws and their results matter. They aren't and they don't. The party is free to do what it wants. They can let the election decide delegates or not. Now, in the end, the people do get what they want. So if there is sufficient outrage in CO over this among Republicans, they force massive changes. My guess is they don't really care that much. Obama has played at being a president while enjoying the perks … golf, insanely expensive vacations at tax-payer expense. He has ignored the responsibilities of the job; no plans, no budgets, no alternatives … just finger pointing; making him a complete failure as a president #13. To: GrandIsland (#8) Every time a player attempts to steal a base, the opposing team has an oppertunity to tag him out. And Trump had every opportunity to tag Cruz out (i.e. get the same delegates that Cruz got). They aren't and they don't. The party is free to do what it wants. They can let the election decide delegates or not. And when they screw the people and act like soviets the people are free to say fuck you and raise hell. I'm not voting for any Republicans this time. And one democrat who is stronger on the second amendment the the current governor of ohio. You know the faggot Kasuckadick.
#15. To: no gnu taxes (#13) And Trump had every opportunity to tag Cruz out (i.e. get the same delegates that Cruz got). Bullshit they didnt' list several Trump delegates. The people didn't vote. Soviets ran the show. You're pretty much a statist so I expect it from you.
#16. To: tooconservative (#11) It's a perfectly useful analogy You're a liar again.
#17. To: A K A Stone, GrandIsland, no gnu taxes (#10) I guess those who think Cruz cheated also think that stealing bases in baseball is cheating. It is more relevant as I consider it. CO had 8 caucuses in the congressional districts over a period of weeks (following the district/county caucuses). Trump failed to show up or organize anything in any of them. So Cruz's team stole those 8 bases while Trump didn't even field a team. Didn't even seem to be aware he needed a team to play the game. Then the World Series (state convention) approaches. Trump, panicking, finally hires Manafort as his coach (delegate manager). But Trump's team manager (Lewandowski) fires the new third baseman (convention coordinator) because he talked to the coach (Manafort). As a result, Cruz shows up, gives a speech, and hits a home run out of the park (takes every delegate in Colorado) while Trump's team can't even write out their own team roster (delegate list by number). Yeah, it is a pretty good analogy.
#18. To: A K A Stone, no gnu taxes (#15) Bullshit they didnt' list several Trump delegates. The Trump people made that list. After they found errors on it and people complained, they stopped the whole process and gave them time to fix their lists. And they screwed it up again. Sheer incompetence by a completely disorganized ground campaign. They couldn't make a list composed of 3-digit numbers and get it right, despite getting two chances to do so.
#19. To: tooconservative (#11) I remember a college football game, where one team has the ball around the opponents 10 yard line. They used a trick play. The quarterback acted like he was calling an audible and began walking parallel to the line of scrimmage along the backs of linemen and shouting instructions. The defense relaxed. The center then made a direct snap to the halfback which caught the defense by complete surprise. He pretty much walked in for a touchdown. It was really a genius play. It was completely legal as there was only one player in motion (the QB), and he wasn't moving towards the line of scrimmage. What happened next was unbelievable. The referee called a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct for "unsportsmanlike deception." So I guess the Trump people are looking for someone to come in and flag the Cruz campaign for some similar infraction. Obama has played at being a president while enjoying the perks … golf, insanely expensive vacations at tax-payer expense. He has ignored the responsibilities of the job; no plans, no budgets, no alternatives … just finger pointing; making him a complete failure as a president #20. To: no gnu taxes (#19) So I guess the Trump people are looking for someone to come in and flag the Cruz campaign for some similar infraction. Good story. But the courts stay out of primaries and caucuses because the state parties and national GOP are considered a private club. You see them referred to this way over and over. And it is accurate. Now, the two parties are most definitely not private clubs during the election, which will occur as always in November.
#21. To: tooconservative (#20) I did manage to find the game, if you're curious:
