Title: News Trump says allies must start paying for ‘American protection’

Donald Trump wants US allies to ante up if they want to continue under the “cloak of American protection,” according to his first detailed comments on his foreign-policy platform.

“We’re not being reimbursed for the kind of tremendous service that we’re performing by protecting various countries,” the Republican front-runner was quoted as saying.

Trump said he would boycott oil from Saudi Arabia and other allies unless they provide troops or funds to fight ISIS.

“If Saudi Arabia was without the cloak of American protection . . . I don’t think it would be around,” he told The New York Times.

Trump is open to removing US forces from Japan and South Korea if they did not take on the cost of housing and feeding troops on American bases there, the report said.

He argued that it is getting expensive to keep “defending the world.”

“We defend everybody. When in doubt, come to the United States. We’ll defend you. In some cases free of charge,” he said.

Trump pushed back against suggestions his foreign policy was “isolationist.”

“I am ‘America First,’ ” he said. “I like the expression.”

He vowed to renegotiate the Iran deal to extend restrictions on the country’s ability to build nuclear weapons while also allowing Iran to buy planes and other goods made in the United States.

“We gave them $150 billion, and they can’t spend it in our country,” he said.

The United States, in Trump’s view, has lost power economically and militarily for decades. He cited the Teddy Roosevelt era as the period when America’s might peaked.

“We have been disrespected, mocked and ripped off for many, many years by people that were smarter, shrewder, tougher,” he said.

Trump vowed to restore the country’s role as a global superpower. He suggested the United States has acted like a “big bully” and was “not smartly led.”

A cornerstone of the Trump doctrine is his “unpredictability” in dealing with foreign leaders.

“I wouldn’t want them to know what my real thinking is,” he said. “I would use trade, absolutely, as a bargaining chip.”

He defended US surveillance of allies like Israel and Germany, saying, “They’re spying against us.”

Trump said he would allow Japan and South Korea to develop their own nuclear programs instead of depending on America for protection from China and North Korea.

He wouldn’t rule out using nuclear weapons against an adversary, saying he would use nukes as an “absolute last step.”

But Trump held out hope he could facilitate the greatest deal of them all — lasting peace in Israel.

“I would have a better chance than anybody of making a deal,” he said. (1 image)

Yes he understands paying for protection. Only way to keep your casinos from being fire bombed by the Mob.

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. No one has a leg up on me. I have predicted all the major events of the last 25 years. Perhaps Trump's lasting peace plan for Israel involves splitting Jerusalem 3 ways (between the Jews, Christians and Muslims, as hinted at in Rev. 16:18-19).

Unfortunately the quotes posted above have nothing to do with partitioning Israel.

Your prediction was Trump would lead NATO in the destruction of Islam and defeat Russia.

Trump wants no part of the ME other than opening hotel casinos and Putin is pulling out.

Let me share a dream I recently had (and most of my dreams are prophetic). In my dream an iron curtain is descending on the Euphrates where it dried up. I was told that all nations west of the dried-up Euphrates would be included in the coming Kingdom of God that will rule the earth for Jesus for a thousand years, and the nations east of the Euphrates would not take part. The thing is, Moscow sets right on the boundary line. In my dream, I see a great whore dying of AIDS crossing the boundary line just in the nick of time.

Well it might not be Jerusalem, but the Revelation definitely says a great City of the Sanctuary will be split three ways. It is probably talking primarily about Baghdad (and Iraq) which is pretty much divided 3 ways already. But it is not unusual for a prophecy to be fulfilled 2 or 3 times. A third leading candidate is Damascus/Syria, which like Iraq will no doubt have to be split 3 ways between Iraq's Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds. And I didn't say all of Israel will be partitioned 3 ways, just Jerusalem and the Holy Mount which is pretty much divided 3 ways already between the 3 descendants of Abraham.

You must really get confused when someone says "Jason Day is the face of golf" or Bill Gates is the face of Microsoft.

"The face of" means "represent". Trump was saying, "Do you want this person representing the U.S. as President?

You're a clown. Let me guess. When Trump said that Megyn Kelly had blood coming from her eyes, you thought he meant that blood was actually coming out of her eyes. Right?

Who is the "whore?"

There appear to be two or maybe 3 or4 great whores, one in ch. 17 and the other 2 or 3 in ch. 18. The Great Whore of Rev. 17 is obviously Moscow, which sits on 7 hills and many waters (via the Moscow Canal which connects 5 seas). And Moscow was briefly aligned with Hitler the antichrist as prophesied. And, getting back to my dream, Muscovites are dying from new diseases more than any other industrialized nation (last plague # 5). The last time I checked, the average life expectancy in Russia was around 65, and decreasing every year, while the avg life expectancy in western Europe and the US is around 85, and increasing every year. In my dream, the iron curtain comes down on the back of the whore's wheel-chair and I have to pull her through to the west. Actually, the whore reminded me of a girl-friend I used to have.

When Trump said that Megyn Kelly had blood coming from her eyes, you thought he meant that blood was actually coming out of her eyes. Right?

But he didn't say that because there would have been no scandal over it if he had. What he said was "blood coming out of her wherever".

And now you want to pretend he didn't say that at all or you try to misquote him deliberately.

You must think LF's readers are really stupid to fall for your clownish prevarications.

He was a very conservative governor in New Mexico and had an outstanding record. He was even popular with Dem voters in the state, despite his record-setting veto habit. If he hadn't been term-limited, he would probably still be running NM, much to its benefit.

"And now you want to pretend he didn't say that at all or you try to misquote him deliberately."

Misquote? Me? This from the King of Selective Quotes. Trump said, "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever."

So what about the first part? What did he mean by that? Why did you leave that out? Are you afraid that the first part explains the second part and it totally destroys your (mis)interpretation of what Trump meant?

Trump meant to say "eyes and nose", an expression of extreme anger. As he explained it, he said, "eyes and wherever", wanting to move on.

----------------------------

In "Rocky Mountain Mountain Mountain Revenge" by Jon Sharpe, number 342 of the Trailsman series of Western novels, you can find this passage:

Bell took a step, his face so red it was a wonder he didn't have blood coming out of eyes and nose. "You arrogant son of a bitch."

The Season Four, Episode Two, recap of "Game of Thrones" at the website Allthatsepic.com tells us:

Cersei rushes to her son and screams in horror as everyone looks at Joffrey, who has blood coming out of his eyes and nose.

Don't blame Trump because you're ignorant.

No. I'm saying he was using a phrase that not many people are familiar with.

"If he had already said "blood coming out of her eyes", he didn't need to say "blood coming out of her wherever" if he meant her eyes and nose."

He meant to say "eyes and nose" because that's the complete phrase. He explained this later. Don't pretend you're interested in the truth.

Now, where in the hell did you come up with "misogynistic"? Is that because Trump made negative remarks about a specific woman? Like Rosie O'Donnell? Or Megyn Kelly?

Trump had negative things to say about Obama. Given your logic, does that make Trump a racist?

99% of LF's posts are by less than a few dozen posters and about 90% of those posters are over-65 white guys. Elderly wingnut types. So we can't be too surprised at some of this stuff.

When you start to think about it, the real question is why any of us care what LF's tiny readership thinks about anything.

When Freeperville is a few orders of magnitude more significant than LF is (in the range of hundreds to thousands of times as many posts and members), then you realize this is just an obscure chat room, a hobby forum, running on Web 1.0 forum software.

I'm just saying, in the small pool of rightwing chatroom forums, TOS has a thousand times the reach and readership and participation by members as what LF does.

So the idea that you "campaign" for Trump (or any other candidate) in such a small forum is sheer self-delusion. There's really nothing to "win" here at LF. There isn't over at TOS either but the numbers of members, pagehits and posts makes them seem more consequential than they really are.

TOS did have the ability 15-20 years ago to do things and influence events in the real world but that time is long past and it's just a chatroom supported with hundreds of thousands of donations (in an era where such network services have been chopped to a tiny fraction of what they were 20 years ago). IOW, it's really just a site about making the Robinson family rich and comfortable by living off their chatroom. The supposed operating costs there are a ridiculously small fraction of what they ask for (and get) in donations. They really know how to play that crowd of suckers. I especially enjoy the regular outages during a fundraiser because they "need a new server desperately". "JohnRob, our intrepid young Galahad, is out there with bobby pins and duct tape, just trying to hold that dying server together until your check gets there...". Even so, TOS is still a thousand times as big in every dimension as LF.

The site I left to come here has it now exactly the way they want it .There are a few people a day asking technical questions about computers or lawn mowers ect ...or they describe movie scenes from movies no one has seen ,and ask the name of the movie. But where they once had an active discussion board on what was broadly called 'Current Events ' ;they destroyed it by allowing their moderators to edit comments ;delete comments ,or completely end threads of discussion on their whim . This happened once too often to me . I go out of my way to be civil in these discussion groups . But some topics ;like PP wacking babies and selling off their body parts was a topic that crossed some arbitrary line .

I go back there occasionally to see what's up. There hasn't been a new comment or discussion topic since Feb 18 .
