My advice for reporters and protestors visiting Donald Trump events is simple: You have a right to keep and bear arms. Use it. If Trump’s brownshirts know their targets are armed, they’ll get less handsy, fast.
For those who want to carry a concealed weapon for personal protection, NRA offers classes on handgun safety, and NRA-ILA has detailed information on state gun laws, including which states have permit reciprocity agreements with other states.
Traveling to another state for an event? Here are TSA’s rules on transporting firearms.
And lastly, when attacked by a Trump goon, if you’re hesitating to defend yourself with your firearm, ask yourself whether it’s better to be tried by twelve, or carried by six.

BTW I do not think you can carry in rally ie sporting event or political event. At least not in Texas.

If you remember the Boston Marathon bombing packpacker, you would think that these so-called "liberals" would know better than to allow for people to pack guns at a major event like this. Not only is this assinine but it shows the true motives of the "liberal" agenda. I went to Trump's rally in Louisville. It was an indoor venue. We all had to pass through metal detectors (I think there were 8 of them). I registered online for a free ticket with my name and email address - I had to create a password too. They didn't check tickets at the entrance.

It was at an airport hanger at Dayton International Airport in Vandalia Ohio. It was kind of off to the side and not at the main terminal. A few miles away from the main area where passengers would go.
It was a two lane road for a while then you turned into the parking lot. You weren't screened until you went into the building. This looks like it is the two lane road right where you turn at to get on the road that leads to the parking lots.
I smuggled a sandwich into the event. They said to get rid of your food. But I didn't obey. The Secret Service guy saw it and said it was ok.
Fred I thought about going to the Cincinnati event tomorrow. It should be a riot (not literally) a 1500 person event with boat loads of people outside.
I should go there and advertise the site.

These are private events. Trump rents the venue and provides the security. There is no right to carry arms on someone else's private property. The guns will be confiscated.
