trump-nazi-salute

It seemed that Republican front-runner Donald Trump’s rallies couldn’t get any more disturbing or overtly racist. But just when we thought we had seen it all, after vowing to expand the powers of the police state, Donald Trump had supporters at a rally on Saturday pledge allegiance to vote for him in the upcoming Florida party primary, The Hill reported, by making them extend their right hands forward like the Nazi salute of the Third Reich.

After doubling down on his promises to deport 12 million people from the United States, using unprecedented police power, and banning Muslims from entering the United States, as well as forcing American Muslims to wear identification badges, then praising the police as “the most mistreated people” as well as being “under-appreciated” and the victims, rather than the perpetuators of violence, Donald Trump issued the bizarre call for his followers to pledge allegiance to vote for him.

The video footage of the incident was posted by Bloomberg Politics. It clearly shows attendees at the event in Orlando extending their right hands forward – not merely raising their hands in the air – vowing allegiance to “vote for Donald J. Trump for president.”

“Don’t forget you all raised your hand,” Trump added, as they lowered their hands. “You swore. Bad things happen if you don’t live up to what you just did.”

The statement was ominous and disturbing to say the least. Bad things? What exactly was he implying.

Trump’s statements have gotten so overtly fascist that even Ted Cruz has called them nothing short of propaganda for a “police state.”

“I intend to follow the law,” Cruz said of his own policies. That would preclude the sort of “door to door” round-ups of millions that Trump has called for.

“We don’t live in a police state,” Cruz said. If we don’t, however, if Trump is successful, we soon will.

The primary in question has been scheduled to be held on March 15.

You giving directions on how to reach your GOPe rally.

Wrong, as usual.

I don't support ANY of the candidates of either party.

Choosing masters every four years doesn't make you free.

Don't vote for Marco or Mitt, or any of the other Republicans or Democrats running for president. They all suck.

Third party, write in, or best of all don't encourage them by voting. If you don't vote you can complain, since you didn't contribute to causing the problem.

It's better than voting for someone as bad as Hillary or worse with an R (Jeb!, Rubio, Carter Rodham Trump...), while begging for more next time.

Why do you want to encourage increasingly bad behavior by voting for crapola(R)? The D&R party needs to reform, or die.

The D&R party needs to reform, or die.

While the R party dies the D party will take total control of the three branches of the government There will not be any reform of the D party then as it will have absolute power with zero opposition.

So why are you advocating for the demise of the REP party and installation of the DRat Party with absolute control over all aspects of the government?. IMO gridlock is an infinitely better state of affairs, even though that might lead to a true civil war in the country in time.

The country is already seriously fractured. I know that the leftist DRats will die very hard. I don't think the conservative REPs will fight as hard as the DRats, the Drats will burn it down rather than lose. But the DRats have time on their side. They own two of the largest propanganda machines, the MSM and the public schools. They have already brainwashed 3+ generations of public school goers and have a firm control on ratcheting up on the next 2 generations. They will eventually win it all by just letting the demographic trends continue.

I will not be around to see the outcome or have to live with it but my grandkids will be and that makes me weep. They are already living with the oppressive social battering ram of "white privilege" {which will only get worse with time} and they are not even 5 years old.

I'm advocating for the REFORMATION and salvage of the [American] Republic. The "party" can rot and eat its own entrails until it no longer exists.

A Republic is a system of government characterized by the rule of law.

American government was constituted with the declared purpose "TO SECURE THESE RIGHTS, governments are instituted among men"; and it is self-evident the RINOcracy hasn't been constrained within that constituted purpose for quite a while.

"COMMERCE BETWEEN MASTER AND SLAVE IS _________"?

Fixing that requires raising up generations of Americans who will refuse to join the bureaucratic crony-serving Cluster Frack that presently exists...

And exactly who has been doing more and more of that over the past three generations? HINT: MSM, Hollywood, TV and the leftist controlled public schools. It seems that you want more State control of the education of the common people. I that hard to believe given the effective job of indoctrination the State has done to date. The State, in concert with the MSM and Hollywood, have given us tribalism in the guise of multiculturalism, racism in the guise of diversity, secular morality, situational ethics, white privilege, etc. You want more of this?

I don't know what you mean. We have a representative form of government. Who elects our representatives if not We The People? It has been We The People who keeps on sending back the same turds to Congress over and over again. It was We The People that put the Slickster, George W. and Obama in office for two terms. Emperor Obama's Real Clear Politics favorable rating is above 46% about the same as his unfavorable rating. The country is split and the chasm grows wider each day. So please explain what you mean by you comment.

Crony Mercantilism. But we are increasingly empowered to think for, and govern, ourselves. Got Google, YouTube...the internet? "AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE"

I don't know what you mean.

We the People should govern ourselves and protect each other from the coercive control of the vanguard elite who've perched themselves atop a centrally controlled self- serving/worshiping bureaucratic Leviathan.

Salvaging/reforming a system requires understanding the specified purpose for which the system was created in the first place.

For the American framework of lawful governance, that specified purpose is "TO DECLARE THESE RIGHTS".

If not WE then Who?

It has never been We The People but We The Tribes and ever increasingly so these days.

"If not WE then Who?"

Which ever coalition of Tribes prevails. I am sure that you realize that about half of We The People today have little-to-no cultural, philosophical, intellectual, political, emotional connection with the vision and principles on which our Founding Fathers established the country.

That's where the Bush Administration's "ownership society" presented a flicker of wisdom and hope.

The idea still has merit - IF - the gaming of the systemic corruption that was "revolutionized" into the system can be counteracted by enforcing laws against FRAUD and cleaning up the financial sector.

Sounds great in theory but in reality the elected will not enact any reforms that diminish their power and wealth. One has to be insane to expect those in in 1% to pass laws that will hurt their tribe. And just about all of our elected officials at the Fed level are in 1% (certainly at least when they leave office). The only way the reforms that you aver MIGHT have a chance of surviving is at the local level. However, I am sure you understand how Big Brother is already acting to shut down that avenue.

In the final analysis, it will be a matter of which Tribe(s) pushes to the led of the revolution. It sure won't be the 1%. And I am pretty certain it will not be the "white privileged". If you want to make some guesses I suggest that you start with the demographic and cultural trends in the country and project out 25 years or so. There is precious little out there today that might start to push the pendulum in the other direction.
