Politico reports that President Obama’s upcoming executive gun control will force a number of private gun sellers to get their Federal Firearms License (FFL) and perform background checks on every gun sold.
This is will not do away with the nonexistent “gun show loophole,” but it will further limit Americans’ freedom to sell guns to their neighbors or family members without a background check–which is ultimately what Democrats want to accomplish anyway.
According to Politico, “Obama will tighten the definition of what it means to be ‘engaged in the business’ of firearms sales.” Currently, those who sell firearms with the “principal objective of livelihood and profit” must have an FFL. Those selling as hobby or those who sell occasionally from a private collection do not. Obama plans to change the language so that those who sell as a hobby will be placed under the same heading as those who sell for a living.
Breitbart News previously reported that Micheal Bloomberg met with Obama in mid-December to discuss using an executive action to bypass Congress and secure this gun control expansion.
Obama is also expected to add new requirements to the numerous ones already in place for FFLs by “[imposing] tighter rules for reporting guns that get lost or stolen on their way to a buyer.”
Neither of these executive gun controls would have prevented even one of high profile shootings from the last decade, but both will succeed in placing a further burden on the exercise of the 2nd Amendment.
This ought to give everyone a warm & fuzzy feeling, LOL. I am sure this, along with any other "gun control" moves obunghole has planed will help the demontuds in the next elections

Well that seems a sensible way to go. The Constitution says that people can have guns it doesn't say they can sell them. There are plently of gun dealers, so no infringement of rights to buy a gun and when a gun is lost or stolen responsibility should be taken
all that will be infringed here is a little free enterprise

It's not sensible, it's illegal. The less that organized crime (the government) knows about you and your possessions the better. They're mostly slave masters and armed robbers.

Take your country, in Australia as an example, crime hasn't been reduced one iota since the fascist smashing of private gun ownership of firearms. In fact, crime is an all tyme high, because of Australia's "laws."

2. There have been no multiple death incidents since the gun laws were changed
3. generally crime is down however there is a noticable trend for crime to be related to recent migrants and those of middle eastern extraction. If we banned immigration just like we banned assault weapons we would solve the problem. Migrants have imported the drug problem, migrants have imported a crime problem but what has been demonstrated is that less guns mean less crime.

Yes there have. What you omitted with your seemingly clever statement is that violent crime has been transferred to other methods: machetes, long knives and hand to hand murder.

You swallow the NRA line if you want to, fortunately I don't have to listen to their bullshit. I don't have a problem with regulation. This country is not socialist, but it is a fairer implementation of democracy in many respects because we won't put up with crap. This country was not founded by elitists and is not ruled by elitists for the benefit of elitists. We did not need to fight two wars in order to establish an ongoing federation
