sputniknews.com/russia/20...70020/immortal-putin.html It appears Valimer Putin has been around for a while or at least there have been those with a striking resemplence pictured over the last century. This may explain why he doesn't appear to age even though he has been in high office for a long time. Is he immortal? and has he been inteferring in world affairs fro a long time?

I just posted a how-to for ebonytwix a day back. LF is all HTML but won't accept FORM, STYLE, SCRIPT tags to prevent mischief.

Bob used the HTML page source and copied my own post of the image of the Vlad pix. I use a macro to do those automatically so I don't have to type more than a few keystrokes to insert any pic. Anyway, I'm just pointing out you don't need these extra IMG attributes but they can be handy at a times. It's really too much trouble to screw with these extra attributes in day-to-day posting. I only do those because I have them pre-programmed in my macro program (Typinator on the Mac). Using macros is how I make all those TABLE items (like the sample above) in my articles and posts too. It takes me a few seconds with macros; doing it manually is a total pain. Some of these attributes like ALIGN, HSPACE, VSPACE are not allowed in HTML5 so browsers will stop supporting those old HTML 4 features in the next few years. Another reason not to bother to learn to use them. You'll do well just to use my first explanation to ebonytwix on the other thread about picture posting at LF. All of those examples will work properly with every old browser and all the newer HTML5 browsers. Meaning your posts will still look the same 10 years from now here at LF.

The line above tells the browser to align the image to the right margin, flow text alongside it on the left, leave 20 pixels border horizontally and 5 pixels border vertically and make the width 120 pixels (adjusting the height proportionally). This line does exactly the same thing as the one above except it uses align=left to place the image on the left margin and then flows the text on the right side.
