Education Title: Bulletproof blankets rolled our for schoolkids in America BULLETPROOF blankets made specially for schoolchildren are being rolled out in America. The Bodyguard Blanket, produced by ProTecht, is made from the same materials worn by US soldiers while in battle and is “equal to or exceeds the protection” used by police departments. According to the company website, the protective shroud has been proven to provide bullet-resistant protection against 90% of all weapons that have been used in school shootings in the US. The blankets are made from the same materials worn by US soldiers. Kelli Catana, a writer for Hot Moms Club, expressed dismay that schools in America are having to consider such extreme measures to protect their pupils. She explained: “This is depressing to me not because a company has made this incredible product, but because we live in a world where our children and educators have to think about having bulletproof blankets in school. “I remember when I was a kid in school our drills were all about ‘stopping, dropping and rolling’ in case of fire. “Now, our kids go through lock down procedures in case someone unstable decides to shoot up their school. “What a scary world we live in.” Earlier this year a lone gunman entered a high school in Roseburg, Oregon and opened fire, killing eight students and a teacher. In October last year, 15-year-old Jaylen Fryberg shot five of his fellow students, fatally wounding four, before committing suicide at his school in Marysville, Washington. Perhaps they should arm and train a dozen teachers instead. Cheaper and much more effective (and less traumatic for the kids).

Beware of humanitarians! #8. To: ALL (#0) The arms industry would make a lot more money if only they could get us into a WW3. Psalm 37 PRAY FOR PARIS #9. To: CZ82 (#7) "Leftardism/Liberalism: The chickenschitt way to deal with life’s problems by creating solutions to problems that don’t exist, thereby creating a problem where none existed before and then having to find a solution to that one…" The liberal way to deal with a problem is to propose a modest solution which a) is tolerable to a majority of people, b) benefits their cause, and c) they know will not work. When it doesn't work, their response is that their solution was correct but we just didn't go far enough. If we just had more regulations or more laws or spent more money, the problem would go away. This is called incrementalism, and liberals have used it successfully for decades.
