International News Title: U.S. officials believe ISIS planted bomb on Russian plane (CNN)The latest U.S. intelligence suggests that the crash of a Russian passenger jet in the Sinai over the weekend was most likely caused by a bomb on the plane planted by ISIS or an ISIS affiliate, according to a U.S. official familiar with the matter. But the official stressed a formal conclusion has not been reached by the U.S. intelligence community. "There is a definite feeling it was an explosive device planted in luggage or somewhere on the plane," the official, who is familiar with the latest U.S. intelligence analysis of the crash, told CNN. Other U.S. officials also told CNN that the analysis is pointing toward the cause being a bomb. Based on the same intelligence, the U.S. belief is that ISIS or an ISIS- affiliated group is responsible for the attack, the official said. The British government announced Wednesday that it had "become concerned that the plane may well have been brought down by an explosive device." The British government did not detail precisely how it reached that conclusion. But a UK aviation team is traveling to inspect the Sharm airport to look at whether there were proper security measures at the airport and the various scenarios, by which, an explosive device could have made it to the Russian airliner "including a person or in cargo," according to the British transport minister. Wonder if this is the same ISIS cell Hitlery armed in Benghazi. "Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near"---Isaiah 55:6 #2. I would not be surprised if the U.S. planted the bomb or arranged it to happen as a message to (or retaliation) Pooty Poot. потому что Бог хочет это тот путь #4. To: SOSO, Stoner, redleghunter (#3) if I was a Russian 'truther' ,I'd blame Vlad the conqueror for planting the bomb as a false flag operation. It would be nonsense of course . Much like the truther charges in the country are. Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? #5. To: redleghunter (#1) Of course they do. Wonder if this is the same ISIS cell Hitlery armed in Benghazi. No telling, we armed practically everyone in the general geographic area. "U.S. officials believe," could be "Once upon a time."
#6. To: nativist nationalist (#0) " U.S. officials believe ISIS planted bomb on Russian plane " So, we are to believe that ragheads were able to plant a bomb on a Russian plane, and the Russians did not catch it? I would have thought Russian security would be better than that. To: nativist nationalist (#0) I believe it is most likely that the plane hit an American drone.
#8. To: nativist nationalist (#0) (Edited) U.S. officials believe ISIS planted bomb on Russian plane If this can be verified, let's hope Putin gets pissed and chops off a bunch of islamic heads.
#9. To: Stoner (#6) Don't believe anything these people say. Psalm 37 #10. But you have to admit that if this were found to be the case no-one would be that surprised or refuse to believe it. This is the world in which we live these days. Sad, isn't it? потому что Бог хочет это тот путь #11. To: nativist nationalist (#0) Which one? Was it the moderate ISIS or immoderate?

This is the world in which we live these days. Sad, isn't it? The word I got was that Putin is under pressure to respond 'spectacularly' once there is confirmation that it was a bomb. What doesn't make sense to me is that to date ,Russian assets in Syria have not attacked the Islamic State . They instead have gone after the anti- Assad 'moderate 'rebels aka al-Nusra Front. Doesn't make much sense that ISIS would risk wacking the hornet's nest . Russia does not have enough there to do anything but maintain the status quo . But if Putin wanted to get public support to escalate then a terror attack on a civilian air-liner is just what the doctor ordered . Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? #13. #15. To: tomder55 (#12) (Edited) Russian assets in Syria have not attacked the Islamic State . They instead have gone after the anti- Assad 'moderate 'rebels aka al-Nusra Front. Russians are mainly attacking targets that are closer to the front. Most of the so called ISIS is further away, in the eastern sparsely populated deserts. Yet they bombed the ISIS center over there in Raqqa. Similar question would be "why Sherman's March did not take place in Florida"? Well, because it was further away. Here is the map, that can help to explain: (ISIS in in grey color):

"Doesn't make much sense that ISIS would risk wacking the hornet's nest." Nothing seems to make sense in the ME where the philosophy is "The friend of my enemy is my enemy, except when he may also be the friend of my friend BUT only if that friend is an enemy of my enemy but not the enemy of another friend who is not a friend of an enemy excect on Tuesdays or when..........................." потому что Бог хочет это тот путь #17.
