Old habits die hard they are used to the Yankees winning and didn't see the reality of the situation they were a tired, injured team who backed into the playoffs with a bad record down the stretch. They also thought the young team Astros should have known who their elders/betters were and folded like a cheap house of cards. Most of the so called experts on baseball only take into consideration certain stats, not all of them, and that's why most of them are wrong most of the time. The Yankees are a big market team and can afford to release or tell a few players to retire and suck up the money loss. Most other teams don't have that luxury and have to choose players and contracts very wisely...
