When people criticize him, he takes it personally," the host of "The O'Reilly Factor" said. "So I just think this is just a extension of his reality show, ‘The Apprentice.’ This is just theater right now." Trump has criticized Fox's coverage in the past, particularly in the case of Megyn Kelly, who asked him tough questions during the first GOP debate. He and Fox News chief Roger Ailes have struck two truces in the last two months, the last one coming in late August after Trump unleashed a series of tweets blasting "The Kelly File" anchor. “Roger Ailes is great. He’s a special guy and a good friend of mine. We just spoke two minutes ago," Trump told Laura Ingraham in an Aug. 25 interview. "I mean, Roger Ailes is a great guy and no, I have no problem,." The first truce came days after the Aug. 6 debate at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, where Trump had a contentious back-and-forth with Kelly and said in a later interview that she had "blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever." (He later explained that he was referring to her nose.) “Roger Ailes just called. She didn't ask a tough question. Her question dredged up the old Republicans- hate-women theme. And that issue died years ago.
Not with Trump they didn't. The man talks about "ugly women" all the time,while bragging about buying trophy wives. Superficial ain't a strong enough word for him.
“You know, it doesn’t really matter what [the media] write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.” Classy guy. There are tangible reasons why he is so desperately insecure about his personal history, character, education, business failures.
Now, I am convinced that TRUMP should be DUMPED.
What amazes me is that he is such a raging whiny bully. Loves to dish it out thick to everyone, can't take even the tiniest slight. I noticed in the last debate, after weeks of saying "I never attack anyone unless they attack me first", he pops off as soon as the debate started attacking Rand Paul. When he got called on it, he whined that "I heard that Rand Paul was going to attack me so I attacked him first". What a phony. He just opens his mouth and the excrement flows out.
Huh? He told Fox that if that's the way a conservative news network is going to treat a Republican frontrunner, he's not going to give them the ratings boost. That's more of a big f**k you than whining. And it worked. Ailes is going to meet with him to make nice. That's the way it's done when you're a leader. You're just not used to it.
Ailes is going to take a hit but he will lay down his demands with Trump. It might finish Ailes' career off, given that he has fed the Trump monster for years and built up a viewership on FNC for Trump, but I don't think Ailes will back down. I assume he'll give Trump a face-saving out.

Trump holds all the cards. Plus he's right. If Trump can't find a safe haven at Fox, then what's the point of appearing there? Some people say Trump's not a real conservative. Hah! I'm wondering if FOX is conservative. The snarky staff at National Review? George Will? Charles Krauthammer? They all treat Trump like he's polling at 6%. Like he's simply a nuisance. A fake. He's at 31% and draws crowds in the tens of thousands. He's polling higher in Florida than JEB! and Rubio COMBINED -- and it's their state. What's your problem?
