Humor Title: Should TinyTown be reborn? Yes - the first question to ask is: "What the hell is Tiny Town?" It was an HO scale model railroad that I built in by basement It wasn't super big - but it amused the kids. #2. To: Chuck_Wagon (#0) It wasn't super big - but it amused the kids. Being's that I'm super-bored again - should I build the darn thing again? You've been there and done that. So unless you plan to donate it to a charity or take it on the road try something new. Learn to play an instrument or paint or take puctures or dance or start collecting something or become a Civil War re-enactor or volunteer in your local school or {gulp} run for office. потому что Бог хочет это тот путь #3. To: Chuck_Wagon (#0) No, don't rebuild it. Break out you Tonka dozer and track-hoe's and raze that tire- fire and replace it with a strip mall.
#4. To: Chuck_Wagon (#0) " Being's that I'm super-bored again - should I build the darn thing again? " Sure, why not? Do you still have all of the track, engines, cars, transformers, buildings, etc, etc ? When I was a kid, I had an S gauge layout. I still have all the stuff, but the kids have grown & gone. Maybe someday, if I have grand children, I may do it again. Do you have grand kids? Besides, most guys I ever knew that were into model railroading, got most of their enjoyment out of building the layouts, not actually running them. A buddy of mine's Dad worked for the Railroad, and had his whole basement in HO scale layout. It was very elaborate. He even built all of the rolling stock from kits, and did all of his buildings from scratch. It was beautiful. Since your is HO scale, you could add a HO scale car track. You can see some really nice layouts on line. Go ahead Chuck, it will relieve your boredom. Keep me posted, and post some pictures too. Si vis pacem, para bellum #5. To: Stoner (#4) (Edited) Do you have grand kids? No kids at all. But I've got HO gauge cars and trucks. There are some photos on another computer - And I've got HO buildings packed away in

#8. To: Chuck_Wagon (#7) " Transformers, track, no. " That is not a problem. You can buy that stuff, and won't be expensive. Post pictures when you can. Si vis pacem, para bellum #9. #10. To: Chuck_Wagon (#9) " But crazy uncle has to get his act together, right? I can do that... " Well Chuck, I hope you do get your "act together" and build a new lay out. Remember, be sure to post some pictures of it. It would be nice to show pictures of the different stages. Si vis pacem, para bellum Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest |
