They murdered his ass, one eyewitness said. Yes they did, said another, who was recording the aftermath of the police shooting outside of a Walmart in Maryland. Shot him right in the face.
Its crazy, the man recording can be heard saying. Got on his lap and shot him. State Trooper, rookie cop
In the background, we can hear a woman yelling. He was unarmed! He was not f*cking armed.
The woman who apparently knew the man can be heard screaming over and over, as police hold her back. About half way through the video the EMT unit on the scene removes the body of the victim, who has been identified by police as 30-year-old Charles S. Hall, 30. The woman naturally begins shrieking and maintaining that the police murdered this man in cold blood.
Maryland State Police spokesman Greg Shipley said that the shooter was Trooper Daryl K. Brackett, a three-year veteran of the force. The man recording the footage apparently knew all about him, when he called him a rookie.
The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. Bracket pulled the man over in front of a Walmart and an auto parts store. At one point the officer climbed into the vehicle and apparently mounted the man.
During the struggle, the trooper fired his assigned duty pistol, striking Hall in the upper torso, Shipley acknowledged.
Tracey Lee and her 12-year-old son, Eric, arrived at Walmart after the fatal shooting, she said.
I saw all the lights and police and knew something big was happening. I heard three different stories about what happened. I dont know if any of them are right. All I know is a man is dead and hes laying in the parking lot, and I feel terrible for his family. Its a shame, she said.
Maggie Repsher, 19, saw some of the aftermath. I saw a woman on a stretcher in the parking lot and she was screaming at the cops. She was trying to get up, but she was strapped down.
The video below tells a more complete story.
Youre a murderer, the woman can be heard yelled at officers. He was not armed. [ ] You killed my husband, you piece of sh*t.
The incident unfolded just before 9 p.m. when Brackett was heading to a call at the Advanced Auto Parts store in Northeast Plaza, said Shipley, who did not disclose the nature of that call.
As Brackett drove past the Walmart, he recognized Hall and knew that he was wanted by the Cecil County Sheriffs Office for theft, Shipley said.
Brackett stopped his car and attempted to arrest Hall, but the wanted man allegedly resisted arrest and began fighting with the trooper, Shipley said. At some point during the altercation, Hall got into his vehicle and began to accelerate.

If this is true then the officer was within his rights to use deadly force.
Hey - it was only $3 that Wally-World stole from me - yesterday - but it's the darn principle of the thing.
Post-It-Note pads - 4 for a dollar - in a bin by the front door. The sign was lying. It was referring to ANOTHER bin - up or down - very deceptively - (pencils) that had the Post-It Notes for a DOLLAR per 4 a piece.
