He has spoken about how he and his wife Michelle would like to promote projects for young people to inspire more youth leadership. The president is also thought to be interested in how to use technology to create his legacy. Guests at another recent White House dinner included big business names including LinkedIn billionare Reid Hoffman, actress Eva Longoria, novelist Toni Morrison, writer Malcolm Gladwell, Silicon Valley venture capitalist John Doerr and Sun Microsystems cofounder Vinod Khosla. Spielberg's the right guy. He's real good at presenting fictional stories.

Maybe he can give it that "ET" touch "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD . . . " ~Psalm 33:12a #5. To: Rufus T Firefly (#4) " ET" touch " That photo is a great deal uglier & scarier than the original ET character. Si vis pacem, para bellum #6. To: Rufus T Firefly (#0) Doesn't suprise me . Seems like a perfect match. Speilberg is good when it comes to writing about fiction, and Obomber IS fiction. Maybe he could get in touch with George Lucas, and have Obomber replace Jar Jar Binks in the next Star Wars movie? Granted,Jar Jar was likable and smarter than Obomber, but you have to admit there is a resemblance between the two. To: Rufus T Firefly (#3) With a billion dollars he could put one of those in every neighborhood around the country. This would enable him to get plenty of "feedback" from the citizens of the USA...
#12. To: sneakypete (#9) Maybe he could get in touch with George Lucas, and have Obomber replace Jar Jar Binks in the next Star Wars movie? Lucas has nothing to do with Star Wars he sold it all off to Disney awhile back... Besides that Episode 7 should be in the can by now and ready for release on 19 Dec 2015 IIRC...
#13. To: Rufus T Firefly (#0) The president was reportedly left "spellbound" by the director after holding a screening of Lincoln, with Daniel Day-Lewis at the White House in 2012. Spielberg's Lincoln was a largely fictional telling. None of the Congressional debate and speechifying ever happened.
