Video and Audio Title: Sneaky Pete Build a bigger lie On Friday, August 7th, Amazon will premiere the pilot episode for Sneaky Pete, a con man drama executive produced by Bryan Cranston and House's David Shore (who also serves as writer) - free to watch for Prime members on Amazon's Instant Video platform. If Sneaky Pete sounds at all familiar to you, it's because it was actually developed for CBS, who passed on the pilot this past May. Sony TV brought it to Amazon where it'll play and, subject to viewers' feedback and votes, possibly move on to series. Cranston makes a fun guest appearance in the pilot as "crime boss who seeks to harm 'Sneaky Pete'," but really this is Giovanni Ribisi's stage. And it's great to see Ribisi, who so often turns in mannered, quirky (though enjoyable) performances do something a bit more straight-laced. Not that playing a clever, chatty con man isn't in his wheelhouse, but he's definitely the "hero" here, not an oddball side act. Anyhow, Sneaky Pete has all the workings of a solid, engaging TV show. It's premise - that of a ex-con, Marius (Ribisi), who when released from prison assumes the identity of his cell mate, Pete (Ethan Embry), in order to hide out on the guy's family farm - is unique. And it comes with a good background arc (that of "Pete" trying to scrape together $100 grand to save his brother) along with a more forefront case-of-the-week framework ("Pete" using his street smarts and con talent to help track down bail jumpers for the family's struggling bail bond business)...snip
this might work for awhile, or not

Granny is Maggs from Justified! I wonder if this means she is killed off early in this season of "The Americans"? She's a hell of a actress. Always good to watch.
