Earlier today, I removed a one dollar FRN from my wallet to pay for some coffee. On it was neatly printed, in blue-green letters, in the middle upper border of the dark green/"IN GOD WE TRUST" side of the bill, the following: Enter Series & Serial # at www.WheresGeorge.com What is this about? A gov't program to track money? My land line won't load the site in a reasonable amount of time. I tried. A high speed broadband should be able to look at it. I'd like to know what this is.

Enter Series & Serial # at www.WheresGeorge.com I've seen these before. I went on the 'net once and typed in the serial number, but didn't get any satisfactory feedback. Like you, I was thinking the goobermint might be trying to collect more information on us. I'm not sure if that is the case.

So is the gov't selling advertising space on FRN's to help finance the finanacing on the nat'l debt, or the WOT? Maybe we should expect to see NISSAN, and TIDE ads on currency? Or PEPSI? Or whatever....... I've seen articles in the newspaper from time to time, on the FBI looking for someone who was systematically defacing, or putting their message on coins and bills and circulating them. This website has been around at least for a while. No Feds have shut it down. Our tax dolla's at work.

Go to the site, type in the serial number, and see where it's been...then I think you have the option of entering info of where it is right now. I don't think it's a government conspiracy...

I don't think it's a government conspiracy... I didn't say it was a gov't conspiracy (like 9-11). It may be a gov't program.
