Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest "I guess Becky never heard about (or doesn't care or understand) the separation of Church & State." But what can she do about that? I'm worried that the U.S. Supreme Court has never heard of the separation of Church and State ... or the 10th amendment. This is not a federal issue. Never has been. Plus, it's not up to five justices to define marriage. Nor is it up to them to force Christians to violate their beliefs and support their definition.
#2. To: misterwhite (#1) This is not a federal issue. Never has been. Plus, it's not up to five justices to define marriage. Nor is it up to them to force Christians to violate their beliefs and support their definition. Who just made you the judge and jury?
#3. To: buckeroo (#2) "Who just made you the judge and jury?" I am? Well then, I have spoken.
#4. To: misterwhite (#3) Well then, I have spoken.
This is not a federal issue. Never has been. Agreed.
Plus, it's not up to five justices to define marriage. Never has been. Or shall ever be.
Nor is it up to them to force Christians to violate their beliefs and support their definition. About a marriage license and tax for application? Who are you kidding? Where has the US government FORCED a Christian about anything? Sunday chicken dinners?
#5. To: Willie Green (#0) It sounds like she thinks God appointed her his spokeswoman to let us all know what God said or wants. I'm sure that he didn't. ~ Mike McCarthy #6. To: buckeroo (#4) "Where has the US government FORCED a Christian about anything?" "State Silences Bakers Who Refused to Make Cake for Lesbian Couple, Fines Them $135K" You were just on this thread. Short memory?
#7. To: Willie Green (#0) (Edited) I guess Becky never heard about (or doesn't care or understand) the separation of Church & State. And YOU have apparently never heard of, nor care about the 1st Amendment, the 14th Amendment, a Congress that is authorized to create American law (NOT a few insane partisan judges)...nor do you give a rip about the Bill of Rights. How many closets are you going to crash through, Willie? Are you done yet? Lol -- you've been a liberal DEMOCRAT and closet fascist this whole time. Nice political transvestitism. You fooled a lotta people at FR.
#8. To: Obam's Willie (#0) I guess Becky never heard about (or doesn't care or understand) the separation of Church & State. Can you quote what you are talking about Obama's Willie? Because I couldn't find it.
#9. To: misterwhite, Willie Green (#1) (Edited) I'm worried that the U.S. Supreme Court has never heard of the separation of Church and State ... or the 10th amendment. Succinctly and well stated. The Fascist contingent of pro-dictatorship Commies would MUCH rather ignore all those pesky checks, balances, and LAWS that enforce the Founders' original constitutional intent: LOCAL AND STATE SOVEREIGNTY and LAW ENFORCEMENT. The End Game fantasy for Willie and his co-Fascists is to have the UN destroy American sovereignty and a One World Government stomp once and for all on our neck.
#10. To: Willie Green (#0) I guess Becky never heard about (or doesn't care or understand) the separation of Church & State. Its the separation of church and state not separation of religion and state. That is 2 different arguments. The first means government shall not establish a religion. The second means government may work with religion as it suits the needs of the people.
#11. To: Willie Green (#0) I guess Becky never heard about (or doesn't care or understand) the separation of Church & State. But she does understand enforced servitude, and allegiance to, repugnant insanity.
#12. To: All (#11) State Silences Bakers Who Refused to Make Cake for Lesbian Couple, Fines Them $135K. Compulsive servitude. On this I rest my case.
