Corrupt Government Title: Another pharmaceutical mass murder? Looks like another mass murderer on pharmaceutical drugs. So we got Dylann Roof, Adam Lanza, James Holmes, Seung-Hui Cho, Jared Lee Loughner and on! Lets not forget Andreas Lubitz who is dutch and used a plane instead of a gun. Nor Anders Breivik who murdered how many people?

You do not believe big pharmaceutical is the number one issue with mass murderers?
#3. To: Justified (#0) "Every mass shooting over last 20 years has one thing in common... and it's not guns I think a lot of people are making this leap of logic but it may not be true. All (or nearly all) of the other mass killings were from SSRI-type drugs or Valium or whatnot. AFAIK, this massacre in SC is the only one involving an opiate.
#4. To: Justified (#2) You do not believe big pharmaceutical is the number one issue with mass murderers? The evidence is fairly convincing. We're a pill nation...on the edge.

And some people can't may have to try 4-5 of these drugs before they find one they can handles and one that helps them with their issues. All this is still a guessing game to the doctors as to which drug will help which person, they have to experiment. It also takes weeks if not months to get enough of these drugs into the system before it does them any good. How many of these people had just been put on these drugs before they committed their crimes?? If fairly recently then its probably not the drugs fault its their fault they were probably gonna hurt somebody anyway. I'm not saying all of these drugs are good some have side effects that will shorten your lifespan dramatically. But not all of them are bad and do people a lot of good, just depends on the person and the drug. “Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rapidly promoted by mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.†#6. To: Justified (#0) Jeff Weise, age 16, had been prescribed 60 mg/day of Prozac (three times the average starting dose for adults!) when he shot his grandfather, his grandfather's girlfriend and many fellow students at Red Lake, Minnesota. He then shot himself. 10 dead, 12 wounded. This kid was getting this large dose to speed up getting the Prozac is into his system, once he has enough they probably would have backed off the dosage to 10- 20 mg/day.. “Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rapidly promoted by mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.†#7. Michale Moore talked about it- remember "Bowling for Columbine"?

You see some of the complexity with these drugs. Some people are okay, others go nuts. And we probably won't know for certain how much this might have impacted the SC shooter since he now has strong motive to behave better while off the Suboxone to avoid the death penalty. He definitely will want to blame it all on the drug.
