Whether you want to admit it or not, there are some black moms who do try and keep their kids on the straight and narrow.
So are you just a contrarian or is everything just some gooberment plot? If it's all just a government plot, then why even bother to watch or discuss it? If you're paranoid enough, there's no point in even paying attention to the news.

She also was quoted as letting the rioters, er, I mean "protesters" the "space to "destroy " Baltimore. As Rahm Emanuel used to say, “you never want a serious crisis to go to waste”. I'll have to agree with TC here - there has been no attempt by the media to make this woman the "face" of the protests in Baltimore. It's been HOW long since this definitive scene was taped by CNN?? Geez, you guys are impatient. Will this Mother/Son scene by replayed by CNN? You bet. Be discussed by social media? You bet. At political forums? DONE. Become a viral sensation? Yup. This touching scene of heartbreaking chastisement will be filed away by every pundit and observer as a notable piece of the fabric to this tapestry of RIOTS -- still referred to in the media as "Protests." Whether you want to admit it or not, there are some black moms who do try and keep their kids on the straight and narrow. Some? Of course. There are "some" peaceful Muslims too. And Nazis who never murdered Jews. Q: WHAT IS THE CONSENSUS BY THE BLACK "COMMUNITAH" FOR WHITES?? Resentment. Hatred. Disdain. And justification for ALL of it. But come on -- do you actually believe my opinion is that 100% of all black mothers condone the violence and hatred of their son and daughters as witnessed at the burning down of the city of Baltimore?? Be serious. By the same token most blacks are taught to regard white people with disdain and animus. Even blacks readily admit this phenomena. FACT. They are now taught that Whites have achieved success and wealth based ONLY on "entitlement," remember? FACT. Racial black-on-white violent crime stats are off the chart. FACT. Is there a cause-and-effect correlation considering that statistically a whopping 70% of black births are born of to a single mother? But who is blamed for fatherless broken black families? Yup, Whitey. Institutional hate is one of the manifestations of that stat.

Any rational human being has to have a great deal of sympathy for the parents of any race trying to raise their children in or around the government created black ghettos,where the majority of the denizens look up admiringly at drug dealers,pimps,and murderers. Especially when you can look around you and not really blame people for thinking what they think. Yes, we can empathize and sympathize with those held hostage by the environment. That said, hatred of da crackah is institutional and cultural. From birth through the school system, through the ghetto and "entertainment" culture. Their "Leader" from the WH encourages what's happened in Baltimore, Ferguson, etal. among "his People." Some defy and smash through their own Stockholm syndrome of imprisonment, but if doesn't change the established "black culture." They even chastise their own for not being "down with the cause " or "acting too white." Who are you going to blame for this phenomena, Gandhi? The same case of established "culture" steeped in hate is found amongst Muslims as well. Are there good Muslims? Of course. But they also must fight to break out of their institutionalized culture of prejudice and hate. If they do, like many blacks, they too are ostracized.
Including hatred of crackah? Violence and crime against crackahs? Entitlement to do so with impunity?
Still amazes me. Not the anger at the police killing Gray, but that Blacks burn down and loot their own neighborhoods and businesses when rioting. And the Baltimore mayor sits back and says 'give them space.' And the police are more than willing to let cede the Black neighborhoods and let them burn it and loot it.

It took some cities 20-25 years to recover from the race riots of the late 60s and early 70s. My dad said one summer it seemed a city burned every week. Some of these ghettos never recovered at all.

That was the very summer mine and my brother's new sting-ray bicycles were stolen right off our front porch (guess by whom? Caught by the BPD cops.) From the front of my grandmother's house in Bloomfield, NJ, I vividly remember armor rolling down Bloomfield Ave (which ran directly into the bowels of Newark.) "No prisoners-taken" tactics were utilized before the RIOTS (not "protests") got totally out of hand. Detroit erupted that same summer as well. That riot killed Detroit. Before then, Newark was a shopping hub. Afterward, the white exodus was brisk (except for one Portuguese-Italian precinct.) On a related note, recently an arena was built in Newark to accommodate the Brooklyn Nets BB team. Attendance is understandably underwhelming. And now the NY Islanders are scheduled to play there as well. For SOME dumb reason, professional stadiums and arenas are entrenched right in the middle of hostile territory. Camden, NJ is THE worst.
Just a matter of record. Not that I advocate LE violence, but even Harry Callahan got a bit tired of mouthy thugs abusing other citizens and wasting LE time. Gangs don't deal with "arrests"; They simply dispense their street "justice" by the end of a barrel. Yet Mayors, Presidents and natives don't seem to be bothered much by any of THAT or the innumerable drive-byes that the media and politician ignore.

Lets see Baltimore is 60% Black or more, the police are mostly Black, most of the city council is Black, has only been 1 white mayor in the last 30 years and the last Republican mayor was back in 1967. Gray had a lengthy arrest record with convictions dating back until at least 2007, according to the Maryland Department of Justice. Not all of the arrests led to convictions, in many of the cases he pleaded guilty to one charge while the others were dropped. Details of when he spent time in prison were not immediately available.
