Humor Title: Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle Commercial 2015 (anyone offended by this?) I thought it was hilarious - saw it on the tee-bee. Three women stand in front of a set of small trees next to a pool. As they trim the bushes, two of the women use scissors while the third uses the Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle razor; she gets the perfect results down to the heart shape. And, this razor has a second head perfect for more delicate areas.
Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest It's clever but it was clearly going to offend the sensibilities of people. I'm no prude but what next? A Viagra commercial where each of their respective three wives are deep throating bananas?? Or couple "shopping for cucumbers"?
#2. To: Deckard (#0) Odd way to market a hedge trimmer. Using something that small will take forever. Maybe it would be fine for a little Bonsai tree.
#3. To: misterwhite (#2) Notice that the brunette model was the target of the ad not the blondes. Marketing subliminal message - Italian girls need more trimming.
#4. To: Deckard (#0) anyone offended by this? Yes, me.
#5. To: BobCeleste (#4) Very little on TV does not offend me.
#6. To: jeremiad (#5) Very little on TV does not offend me. With no cable, no Dish, and only three local stations, I still have to agree with you, we are down to watching the local news, aka, the homosexual/obama half hour, and Wheel of Fortune.
#7. To: Deckard (#0) "Anyone offended by this?" Hats off to the ad man who thought of this. As to offended, I think it's an insult to women -- implying that this "styling" is so important, they need this product to get it right. Quick survey: How many guys would reject any of these women for not being "properly" trimmed?

To: BobCeleste (#6) "With no cable, no Dish, and only three local stations, I still have to agree with you, we are down to watching the local news, aka, the homosexual/obama half hour, and Wheel of Fortune." Same here. No cable, no dish. Just over-the-air network television. But our son signed us up for Netflix, and we watch that a lot -- not only movies, but they have a lot of series. That, coupled with the occasional DVD, is just right for us.
#9. To: BobCeleste (#6) I watch GB TV on delay, tolerate my wifes addiction to a soap opera and Say Yes to the Dress..... otherwise, just movies. I skip commercials so when I see one now they are shocking. My grandma told me in 1973 that it wouldn't be long until "they are doing it in the streets". Little did I know that it would come true. The pictures from the "Folsom street fair" in the early part of the century shows the true face of homosexuality and state of our countrys soul. Everyone that professes belief in Our Father needs to hit their knees. Ashes and sackcloth along with fasting and prayer will work a miracle. I have given up hope of such a thing happening, but I guess it starts with me. It would be nice if a National leader would call for a day to do as I suggested. Close down all govt offices, businesses and ask the churches to spread the message. Sadly, someone as liberal as FDR can do it, but not even a "right wing" politician is that openly religious.
#10. To: misterwhite (#8) You Tube has all the old Walton series with no commercials.
#11. To: jeremiad (#9) I agree.
