#2. To: Gatlin (#1) most of our law enforcement agents are good people who risk their lives to protect the innocent Perhaps, but the encounters between cops and innocent citizens are more risky to the later. As stats show.

#7. To: Gatlin, Deckard (#0) 1.2 million police officers Deckard says 1.2 million police officers is a "police state" There are 319 million armed people in this country (not counting the 25 million illegal border crossing bastards).... that's one officer polices 319 people in this country... if they were working all at the same time (which they don't). How does one officer make 319 people lick his boot at the same time? Its these types of uncivil protests against LE, that create greater job security for police. The zoo animals are their own worst enemy. Every society gets the kind of criminal it deserves. What is equally true is that every community gets the kind of law enforcement it insists on. Robert Kennedy #8. To: Gatlin (#1) O'Reilly? You can't be serious. He's one of the most strident police cheerleaders in all of media. ...most of our law enforcement agents are good people who risk their lives to protect the innocent Uh, no they don't. Their current mindset is to " make it home at the end of their shift" - public safety be damned. “Truth is treason in the empire of lies.” - Ron Paul![]() Americans who have no experience with, or knowledge of, tyranny believe that only terrorists will experience the unchecked power of the state. They will believe this until it happens to them, or their children, or their friends.Paul Craig Roberts#9. To: Gatlin (#0) Since leaving New Mexico, I ahve been stopped by the State Police twice, both for very frivolous reasons. The first stop was in Kentucky on I-71, I was stopped for not having my seat belt on, I showed him my letter from the VA, signed by a doctor, explaining why I could not wear a seat belt. No ticket, have a nice day and I was off. The second was entering Ohio on I-70, this was for a cracked windshield, This time I had to show all of my papers and wait while he checked them. Both times the trooper was polite, courteous and professional, but so was I. The ting is, neither stop was for anything serious enough to be pulled over for.
#10. To: BobCeleste, Gatlin (#9) Since leaving New Mexico, I have been stopped by the State Police twice, both for very frivolous reasons... The thing is, neither stop was for anything serious enough to be pulled over for. That IS the "thing," isn't it? So instead of stopping real crime and addressing real moving violations, the revenue-scamming state po-po were wasting time on YOU. Were you sporting a nice tan, Bob? Maybe they were "profiling" you. ;-)
#11. To: Gatlin, Deckard (#3) A picture tells a thousand words. Ok, I'm going to agree with this premise -- there IS indeed an anti-police movement in America. It is essentially a proxy war against whitey and those white LE who stand between the the law and urban anarchy. Ultimately, ONLY blacks will be forced to enforce whatever shreds law remain in that case. And then...we'll see the fedgoob step in and militarize LE in cities (THE Plan.) The trend is that only Muslim will be able to enforce law in Sharia-controlled centers in areas like Dearborn and Buffalo.
#12. To: Liberator (#11) (Edited) ...there IS indeed an anti-police movement in America. It is essentially a proxy war against whitey That is how the discussion is being framed by the media. They focus on the blacks who are victims of police abuse and ignore the white victims. The slogan shouldn't be "black lives matter" but "all lives matter". Also another reason there is a backlash against police is because of their "us vs them" mindset and lack of accountability for their actions. “Truth is treason in the empire of lies.” - Ron Paul![]() Americans who have no experience with, or knowledge of, tyranny believe that only terrorists will experience the unchecked power of the state. They will believe this until it happens to them, or their children, or their friends.Paul Craig Roberts#13. To: Liberator, Deckard (#11) A picture tells a thousand words. I held the same thought.
