Title: EXCLUSIVE: IRAQI CAUGHT CROSSING US-MEXICO BORDER WAS MILITARY TRAINER AND SPOKE FLUENT RUSSIAN

Breitbart Texas exclusively obtained leaked information on the Iraqi man who was apprehended while illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border into Texas on February 12, 2015. The Border Patrol agent responsible for interviewing the subject initially expressed concerns that the Iraqi was sent by Russia, largely due to the Iraqi man’s history as a military trainer, his speaking several languages, including Russian, and his having lived in Crimea, according to one of the leaked documents. Breitbart Texas was provided with two documents by a federal agent who works under the umbrella of Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The agent insisted on remaining anonymous.

The Iraqi man is named Ahmed Adnan Taha, Al Khafaji. His date of birth is 6-25- 84. He has one sister in the U.S., one in Turkey, three brothers in Turkey, one in Ukraine, one in New York State, and three brothers in Iraq, according to the leaked documents.

The Iraqi told U.S. authorities that he spoke fluent Russian and lived in Crimea prior to the Russian invasion. He further stated that a Ukrainian paid $4,000 for him to get to the U.S., however, the Iraqi refused to identify the Ukrainian to U.S. authorities.

The public statement given by Border Patrol at the time of the Iraqi’s apprehension stated, “On Thursday, February 12, 2015, RGV Border Patrol Agents encountered an adult Middle Eastern male south of Pharr, Texas. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Border Patrol station for further processing. The subject was setup for Expedited Removal back to his country of origin and transferred to the custody of ICE/ERO.”

Breitbart Texas recently asked the Border Patrol agency about the specifics in this report and their spokesman for the Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) responded, “All record checks were conducted, our federal partners did interview the subject with no derogatory information being found.”

It is significant to note that Border Patrol processing an individual does not mean that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actually deported the individual.

Breitbart Texas provides images of both leaked documents below. The second document contains copy-and-pasted information from the official report, according to the federal agent who provided the information. The typos in the report were contained in the original and therefore included. Breitbart Texas redacted the TECS ID number.

Suspicious dude but I'd guess we have one or more such cases at the border every single day.

The southern border has turned into a land rush for free EBT cards and documents.

In other countries many people are fluent in two or more languages.

On the other hand a foreign "asset" does not have to be fluent in the language of his paymasters.

Maybe it goes with the job but it seemed to me the BP interviewer was drawing a lot of speculative conclusions that are well above his pay grade.

I suppose we should be grateful the BP even detains anyone these days after Obola has done his best to wreck what little border control we once had.

Interesting. The photo is not good enough for me to determine if I saw this guy on BOLO report a few years ago in Iraq.

I guess he being a Shiite Muslim rules out ISIS, but sometimes they lie.

Then again, his name shows his family is from a Shia part of the country. If that is his real name.

It was a 'normal' practice of low level intel analysts to speculate on the motives of a detainee in Iraq. Frankly, if they didn't they knew the report would get lost in the sauce.

But they did learn the bedtime story of "the boy who cried wolf" from me and my boss. Frankly I can't blame them for what they do, because on a few occasions such "beyond their pay grade" reports turned out saving lives and getting bigger fish.

Of course that is why General Officers have LTCs and MAJs for...to sift out the garbage and present them the matters needing their focus:) 20 hour work days get old after a few months:)

To pick out the most irrelevant, mentioning the brother in Turkey and then somehow connecting that to the fact that Turkey was restricting our drone strikes there seems like a ridiculous overreach. I wondered if he was being graded on an essay of required length and he was just filling in some words.

Were we to take seriously the idea that this guy's brother in Turkey had some connection to Turkey refusing us the use of Turkish airports (including Incirlik)?

No, it's silly. It just won't do.

LOL. I know. Maybe he was looking for a promotion from raw interviews to a nice climate controlled office where he did not have to directly deal with detainees.

The typos totally ruined any chance at a promotion. It's 'aerial'. And if he wanted to use the 'lingo' right he should have said "APOE/APOD" in Turkey. Or better yet "power projection platform."

Now that would let the higher muckies say "hmmm, why is this guy down there...":)

His conclusion should have been that Turkey is a hotbed Jihadi transfer point. Fly from all points to Turkey and get a ticket to a nice Jihadi hot spot. Before Syria had their current problems with the Jihadis, they were also willing in doing this during the mid 2000s. So much for our NATO ally Turkey huh? A Jihadi APOD/APOE in itself.

Not so fast. Maybe we're battling font terrorists along with ISIS.     : )

Whatever anyone thinks about Glenn Beck, his "For the Record" series of investigative reporting is stellar. Tonight at 5 PM PST the Blaze channel will delve into this case and others like it. It really doesn't matter who is speaking the truth, or endlessly chasing after it. All that matters is the truth comes out in as many venues as possible.
