Title: GOV. WALKER SPEAKS TO PHOENIX CHAMBER, NO CAMERAS ALLOWED--no media access

Politicians frequently claim they’ve been misquoted or misunderstood by reporters. See Scott Walker’s spokeswoman’s response to a Wall Street Journal report about his position on amnesty.

But there’s a sure way to avoid that: Keep reporters out of the room.

The Phoenix Business Journal reports that’s what Gov. Walker did when he spoke this week to the Arizona Chamber of Commerce. It was part of a series featuring presidential contenders.

“I’d love to tell you what he had to say that was important enough for him to travel thousands of miles from home, but I can’t,” Travis Arbon writes. “The event was closed to the media.”

However, Arbon adds, “although ‘traditional’ media outlets were denied access, that didn’t stop the chamber from encouraging attendees to share the day’s events on social media through #AZLeadership on Twitter.”

Of course, the real expert at holding meetings behind closed doors is President Obama.

Just this week he huddled with Hillary Clinton without letting reporters know, and his spokesman says he’ll likely do so again. The president also hosted a meeting with Muslim leaders in February and held back a list of attendees for days, despite repeated press inquiries. Expect more such gatherings during the final months of the administration.

Poster Comment:

I don't like closed doors. There is way too much of this in government. If you have something to say, why can't the public hear it? Are you hiding something, Scott? That is the impression you are giving.

Are you hiding something, Scott?

You mean you can't guess?
Even when he's talking to the Chamber of Commerce?<

Good grief, spot... How many times do you have to get the wool pulled over your eyes before you finally catch on?

I'm 1000% certain that Walker is explaining to the Chamber that he isn't actually against illegal immigrants... At least he's not going to deport any who are working for peon wages below the minimum wage... and he's not going to punish any employers for hiring illegals or for abusive working conditions...
And I'm sure that he'll promise to use the National Guard to disperse the illegals if there's any attempt at labor organization.

Human trafficking & a steady supply of slave labor... Yep, there's no doubt that's what Scott Walker is promising them.

No wonder he thinks the Press might "misinterpret" his position.

Then certainly at least ONE of the attendees would report that.

I mean, that would be real news, wouldn't it, given that Walker's spokeswoman, Kirsten Kukowski, said yesterday in a statement: “We strongly dispute this account. Gov. Walker has been very clear that he does not support amnesty and believes that border security must be established and the rule of law must be followed. His position has not changed, he does not support citizenship for illegal immigrants.”

But you're 1000% certain based on ... nothing.

Nothing except the GOP's long history of screwing American citizen ever since Ronald Reagan first granted amnestia to illegals back in '86.

Scott Walker Endorses Path to Citizenship for Illegal Immigrants at Private GOP Dinner

The GOP consistantly pursues policies that undermine the wages & benefits of Middle Class Americans. There is no reason to believe that Scott Walker would be any different.
