Yeah - I mean bean / alfalfa sprouts and the like.
And YEAH - this is THAT Chuck_Wagon.
(The one who has never gotten around to building
the greenhouse south of the garage ... THAT one...) So I got this 'Sproutmaster' thing for Christmas...
All I know is that you put the things on a turkey
& cheese & tomato sandwich. Avocado might be optional -
I dunno. Anybody got any idea?

As far as growing it at home I think glass/mason jars are used and some mesh over the top of the jar. Bing or Google it.
