Bush Wars Title: The Super-Bully Is Going Down Again! The Super-Bully Is Going Down Again! by Stewart Nusbaumer Here we go again. The world57;s most powerful, well equipped, best trained and certainly most expensive military in the world being worn down and beaten by a rag-tag group of incompetents and morons. In the 1950s the U.S. military entered the Korean War and battled to a stalemate. Incredible, for the next half century, that has been the high point of U.S. military history. A stalemate! We went charging into Vietnam, exploding with arrogance, and withdrew beaten and in shame, defeated by an impoverished nation using primitive war technology with fighters running around in pajamas. In the 56;80s Ronald Reagan deployed U.S. Marines to Beirut, to wrap up the Lebanon civil war quickly. Bloodied, Reagan immediately yanked the Marines out. In the 56;90s we charged straight into Mogadishu, Africa -- then straight out of Mogadishu, Africa. Now we57;re in Iraq. How long before we scramble our troops out of this Middle Eastern disaster? Any wagers? Sure, we have had significant victories in the last half century. In Grenada half our army managed to stomp a few dozen Cuban construction workers armed with the latest shovels. A few years later we blitzed Panama, shooting the country into interesting Swiss cheese patterns, and in the process stumbled upon their whacked-out presidente who we flew back to Miami. Right, Miami is the perfect place for a dope fiend. The fact is, our country has become severely divorced from reality, and I don57;t mean 60;reality61; television, whose ratings remain strong. America is a superpower 51; the world57;s only superpower 51; and a superpower is supposed to have super power, right? Why, then, in the last half century has our military been stomped, to use the popular phrase, 60;from sea to shining sea61;? Of course we have the option to nuke our enemies back into the era before SUVs and Dell computers, whether Koreans, Vietnamese, Africans, Arabs, grandmothers 51; hey, we can nuke everyone back to anytime. That57;s what being a superpower is all about. But there is a problem. Most Americans just don57;t feel good about nuking whole families and even nations only because our leaders have a gripe with their leaders, which is what sends our military into battle these days. Think not? When was the last time an Iraqi attacked you? Our massive conventional firepower 51; planes, artillery and missiles, battleships, submarines, you name it we got it 51; can of course disappear any enemy anywhere. But the problem today is these slimy imbeciles (that57;s the way you describe an enemy) refuse to come out and fight. Regardless of how much the U.S. taxpayers have been milked by our defense corporations, it57;s nearly impossible for our modern tools of death to kill a target that insists upon hiding in the jungle or some dismal back alley. There was a time when warriors didn57;t run and hide. The old days were more fun for the U.S. military. The larger problem here is obvious. Our enemies refuse to play the role that the Pentagon war planners have assigned to them. We all have a role to play in life; unfortunately these obstinate dunces insist upon playing a role that has not been written into the war script. They refuse to come out in mass, gather on a nice green flat pasture on a clear sunny day, and allow the world57;s most expensive and powerful military to decimate them cleanly and completely. Now, that57;s what war is about. Although we may have the best universities, I57;m a fine product of Vassar myself, and we have the largest mortgages -- mine will be paid off exactly three months after my 158th birthday -- this doesn57;t mean the rest of the world is stupid. They adapt, they are sneaky because they have to be, and they have lots of time. Americans work more than anyone, even more than the workaholic Japanese. On the other hand, our impoverished enemies don57;t have to be at the office bright and early, which suits them fine since they were out all night planting roadside bombs. So they have embraced the role that Western strategists call irregular soldier using asymmetrical warfare that stymies, frustrates, slowly bleeds, and finally breaks the will of the greatest military in the world. Not bad for morons. Where the U.S. military is strong, the insurgents avoid; where the U.S. military is weak, the insurgents attack. For the last half century these rag-tag illiterates have done a job on the world57;s superpower. That57;s because the morons use their brains, while the Pentagon only uses our money. When you were in elementary school, in the rough and tumble world of the school yard, you didn57;t take the bully straight on. Well, if you did, you didn57;t do it again. Instead, you ran up from behind and belted the 4-feet 5-inch giant squarely in the back and then you ran like hell. Bullies are never fast runners. Then you got down on all fours 51; when taking on the bully there was no room for pride 51; and slowly crept up to him and bit his leg and ran like hell. You kept hitting and biting and running until the big brute was in tears and ran off for the teacher. Well, look closely and you will see that the superpower bully is getting frustrated, starting to look desperate. Listen closely to the American people, and you will hear them screaming for the teacher, screaming to get our troops out. Here we go again. Stewart Nusbaumer, recently released from Sunny Thoughts Rehabilitation Home, is a veteran of the Vietnam War and has vacationed in approximately a dozen war zones. His current writing project is a book that advocates a U.S. invasion of Detroit, Michigan. 'Cuz that's not the way we've done things fer 60 years...we are winning the War on Terror, with or without a declaration of war. Once again Mud you show that you are no friend of the constitution. TO you it must just be a god damned piece of paper. Your name is Mud.
#45. To: A K A Stone (#44) "Rockin' 'Til We Win This War!!"

Mudboy Slim (5/20/04)
#46. To: Mudboy Slim (#34) No sir, credibility must be earned I agree. Credibility takes a long time to build, but only a moment to shatter. An example would be Continental Op who lost all credibility by typing out 5 simple words without taking a moment to consider if he knew what he was talking about. He didn't, and his misfortune is a quasi-permanent record on this site for all to see.
#47. To: continental op, All (#37) I don't buy it. Did you ever get your foot out of your mouth long enough to read the posted link on #26? (An official press release confirming the government contract, hosted on the Halliburton website, found here)
#48. To: SeekingFreedom, Continental Op (#46) "...his misfortune is a quasi-permanent record on this site for all to see." Quasi-permanent?! Gosh, that sucks...MUD
#49. To: SeekingFreedom (#47) #22. To: Fred Mertz (#21) Strawman. Halliburton is building detention centers for illegal immigrants, not gulags for Americans. When will you cretins learn that the Feds don't have to round anyone up to control them? Free David Irving!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Gotovina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Eric Rudolph!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #50. To: Mudboy Slim (#42)
Oh really? So, that's your reservation? Then it follows that you, ostensibly a (ahem) Constitutionalist and a (ahem) Patriot, would turn and call Dubya a Constitution shreding, chimp faced bastard if the above information was proven to be correct?
#51. To: Mudboy Slim (#42) PS: I suppose you don't trust Judge Napolitano or F Why is that, exactly there "Mud"
#52. To: continental op (#49) When will you cretins learn that the Feds don't have to round anyone up to control them? The contract, which is effective immediately, provides for establishing temporary detention and processing capabilities to augment existing ICE Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) Program facilities in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants into the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs. If you believe your own ramblings then you are living in a very different reality than I.
#53. To: Mudboy Slim (#48) Quasi-permanent?! Gosh, that sucks Just saying, it could be altered or erased if somebody wanted to do so.
#54. To: Jhoffa_ (#50) GardenVarietyTroll...MUD
#55. To: SeekingFreedom (#53) "...it could be altered or erased if somebody wanted to do so." It still sucks...MUD
#56. To: Jhoffa_ (#51) "I suppose you don't trust Judge Napolitano..." HOO the F0X is Judge Napolitano?!
MUD
#57. To: Mudboy Slim (#56) HOO the F0X is Judge Napolitano? Self described libertarian, former judge in New Jersey, current Chief Legal analyst on FNC. Major critic of the Patriot Act and Bush's erosion of the Bill of Rights. A typical "liberal" in the minds of Bushbots. According to FNC: Napolitano is the youngest life-tenured Superior Court Judge in the history of the State of New Jersey. While on the bench from 1987-95, Judge Napolitano tried over 150 jury trials, and sat in all parts of the Superior Court — Criminal, Civil, Equity and Family. For eleven years, Napolitano served as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall Law School, where he taught constitutional law and jurisprudence. He returned to private law practice in 1995, the same year he began his career in broadcasting. Napolitano received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame.
#58. To: SeekingFreedom (#57) And let's not fergit, he's got great hair...MUD
#59. To: Mudboy Slim (#43) we are winning the War on Terror Just like we are winning the war on drugs. Why do you waste your time on a forum where you don't agree with hardly anyone on it? Some might see ulterior motives for your presence here.
#60. To: Mudboy Slim (#54)
In other words, your response is just another delusion. You willfully reject the truth. You don't want it. You prefer your delusion. Mud, I hate to say it.. but you're losing points here. Not that it matters much, you can hardly sink much lower in the minds of us who know you. You're a beaten man. You can't even answer simple questions.. Your only recourse is silly rip-offs of other peoples music, whining and hiding from the truth. You're a sock puppet.. A paper tiger. Now go on, post something stupid.. but we both know who won this one..
#61. To: RickyJ (#4) You beter believe it's not going to happen. Perhaps a definition is in order. What do you mean when you use the terms "win" and "lose"? Over 7000 Gulf War One vets have already died from depleted uranium exposure, and 51% have major medical problems. The numbers for the recent slaughter in Iraq haven't even begun to come in yet. Our govt did what the enemy couldn't. Just how many of our own are you willing to sacrifice to avoid facing the truth?
#62. To: Mudboy Slim (#56) HOO the F0X is Judge Napolitano?! He's the guy with no forehead on Faux Noos.
#63. To: SeekingFreedom (#52) The contract, which is effective immediately, provides for establishing temporary detention and processing capabilities to augment existing ICE Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) Program facilities in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants into the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs. Strawman, boy. You said gulag to start with. Now, you're taking the government at its word. YOu trust a government press release, son? Free David Irving!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Gotovina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Eric Rudolph!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #64. To: HOUNDDAWG (#61) Ah, Hounddog. Do you feel safe posting at this site? THere are no women's skirts to hide behind. Free David Irving!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Gotovina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Eric Rudolph!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #65. To: RickyJ (#59) "Why do you waste your time on a forum where you don't agree with hardly anyone on it?"
What makes you think I don't agree with anyone here? I'll bet there ar lots of things we agree on.
"Some might see ulterior motives for your presence here."
LOL...ulterior motives? Like what? Sheeesh, a little paranoid maybe?
Regards...MUD
#66. To: Jhoffa_ (#60) Good morning to you, too, KingKlownPu$$y...MUD
#67. To: Fred Mertz (#62) "the guy with no forehead" LOL...ain't that the truth? Maybe Begala can lend him some of his...MUD
#68. To: Mudboy Slim (#66) You get owned by everyone on this thread.. I mean get your ass so totally kicked, are shown as an enemy of the Constitution, you're proven to be a galactic boob who has no idea what he's talking about... and this fourth grade shit is your rebuttal? No wonder you're a laughing stock.
#69. To: Jhoffa_ (#68) KingKlownPu$$y...ROFLMAO!!!!!!
#70. To: Mudboy Slim (#69)
Wrong on all counts. I'm far from being a pussy, and I haven't posted on CP since I don't know when. Face facts, you're upset at yourself. Y ou're mad that you lost, you're frustrated and angry that you can't compete with the rest of the patrons here and on FU. You realize that you can't debate and that you need your amen choir from TOS.
#71. To: continental op (#63) Now, you're taking the government at its word. Nope. That Press Release was from the Halliburton website. Are they an agent of the government?
#72. To: Jhoffa_ (#70) "you're mad that you lost"
Lost what? I've been on a months-long winning streak, Frank...MUD
#73. To: Jhoffa_, A K A Stone, RickyJ (#70) "...you need your amen choir from TOS." I'll build a new amen choir right here...thankyouverymuch...MUD
#74. To: Mudboy Slim (#73)
I mean LOST. LOST as in every time you open your mouth, you shove your foot in it. Scoort Libby, the Patriot Act, etc.. You're the hick who just can't seem to get anything right. You know this, and your own incompetence irks you.
Yes, you're doing a wonderful job thus far.. I see you're progressing nicely on FU also.
#75. To: Jhoffa_ (#74) Typical RATtroll nonsense...sorry dude, but yer ClownPu$$y techniques ain't working...MUD
#76. To: Mudboy Slim (#75)
Typical Mud-bot nonsense. Lies upon lies, can't debate his way out of a wet paper bag, speaks with authority on subjects with which he is completely unfamiliar, defaults to changing the subject, ridiculous lables, etc. Yep, you're a world class disspointment alright. I honestly don't know why you bother typing.. As you never have anything of value to convey.
#77. To: Jhoffa_ (#76) Good morning, sunshine...MUD
#78. To: continental op, A K A Stone, Mudboy Slim (#64) Ah, Hounddog. Do you feel safe posting at this site? THere are no women's skirts to hide behind. Well, it's scary but, I'll bravely push on. If I am welcome here then there will be skirts to "hide behind" soon enough. (I won't assume that I am. So far I've received one gracious invitation, two friendly welcomes and one cheap shot so, I'll leave the question of my worthiness open for the time being.) By the way, are you someone that I know and love by a different screen name?
#79. To: Mudboy Slim, JHoffa, Fred Mertz (#56) HOO the F0X is Judge Napolitano?! Andrew Napolitano is a staunch advocate of the 2nd amendment. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard a New Jersey judge actually stand up for gun rights. Growing up in VA I was taught to believe that the whole state was brimming with "non-Christian", gun fearing, homosexual communists, just like New York City.
#80. To: HOUNDDAWG (#78) By the way, are you someone that I know and love by a different screen name? Oh, you mean JJbrouwer? No, been feuding with him for year. I've always been Continental Op, since FR. Free David Irving!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Gotovina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Eric Rudolph!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #81. To: SeekingFreedom (#52) Great. YOu just keep taking the government and halliburton at its words, Kook. Free David Irving!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Gotovina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Eric Rudolph!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #82. To: continental op (#81) YOu just keep taking the government and halliburton at its words, Kook. Are you saying that the government did NOT award Halliburton a 385 million dollar contract to build detention facilities?
#83. To: SeekingFreedom (#82) No. work on your reading comprehension and get back to me. Free David Irving!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Gotovina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free Eric Rudolph!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Top • Page Up • Full Thread • Page Down • Bottom/Latest |
