I have a family full of ridiculously over educated, ill informed liberals. They know I am very concerned about the coming Muslim take over. You should see how they look at me. With such … PITY and condescension in their eyes. They love me, but stay far away from any topic of a political or cultural nature. It is as if we are living in a Disney cartoon. I live near Duke University. No one has mentioned the Call to Prayer issue. They have not mentioned the French massacre. We aren’t allowed to breathe a word about the ISIS beheadings. I am made to feel like a fragile child whose compensating qualities are my ability to make a lovely home and bake them tasty pies. I am not sure they will ever wake up.

That is one of the most frustrating aspects of dealing with leftists,and leftists IS what they are. They are NOT liberals in ANY sense of the word since liberals believe in live and let live,and these people want "the collective ruled by them" to control every aspect of others lives.
These people are all condescending snobs who believe they are the "evolved intellectual elites that are perfect all-knowing human beings,and that anyone who doesn't agree with them has the intellectual ability of a slow child.

They are hostile to, or dismiss, the obvious as nothing but the consequence of "simplistic thinking" and inferior intellect. At the same time they dwell upon and elevate inconsequential and evasive/avoidant trivialities as determinent. In this way they get to constantly parade what they assert to be their great intellectuality in a child's world. An attempted conversation with them leads to nothing but smug evasive circular reasoning.

I have a contrary streak,and in real life I love talking politics and reality with these fools. I always end up laughing at the end,and they always end up defensive and mad.
They almost never have people put them in their place in real life face to face discussions. They tend to limit their "intellectual" discussions in real life the same way they do on political talk boards. They only talk with people they agree with so they can never be told they are wrong or stupid. You can see the shock in their eyes when you back them into a intellectual corner in real life with a good strong dose of reality.
