Duke University reverses plan for bell tower Muslim call to prayer By Marti Maguire RALEIGH, N.C. Thu Jan 15, 2015 6:09pm EST (Reuters) - Duke University scrapped plans on Thursday to allow the Muslim call to prayer to emanate from its chapel bell tower, university officials said, amid fierce criticism from conservative Christians and anger from alumni. Earlier in the week, university officials said the weekly chant by Muslim students, known as the adhan, would be amplified from Duke Chapel beginning on Friday. "Duke remains committed to fostering an inclusive, tolerant and welcoming campus for all of its students," said university spokesman Michael Schoenfeld in a statement announcing the reversal. "However, it was clear that what was conceived as an effort to unify was not having the intended effect." The university, which has Methodist roots but is non-sectarian, reversed course after criticism from conservative Christians, most notably North Carolina-based evangelist Franklin Graham, who urged donors and alumni to boycott the university in a Facebook post. "As Christianity is being excluded from the public square and followers of Islam are raping, butchering, and beheading Christians, Jews, and anyone who doesn't submit to their Sharia Islamic law, Duke is promoting this in the name of religious pluralism," wrote Graham, son of well-known pastor Billy Graham, in a post that received thousands of supportive comments. The Gothic-style Duke Chapel, one of the school's best-known landmarks, is an interfaith locale where Hindu students, as well as groups from various Christian denominations, hold services. Muslim students have held Friday services in the building's basement for several years. On Friday, students will for the first time say the call to prayer marking the beginning of their service in an area outside of the chapel, Schoenfeld said. The plan to amplify the chant from the tower may be revisited at a later date, he said. Schoenfeld said the school received negative feedback from the university community, including alumni, upon announcing the amplification plans. That criticism, along with safety concerns, prompted the reversal, he said. More than 700 of Duke's nearly 15,000 students identify as Muslim, according to the university.

I'm not sure it is insanity. Their goal is to destroy freedom in America,and by extension the world,so they support anything that weakens our system. It's the old "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing. Of course once the globalist take power fundie Muslims will be hunted down and destroyed like the rabid dogs they are,but until then they sever the globalists purposes.

That is a bet you would lose. The day after the globalists take over the Muslim leadership will start disappearing. Don't forget,the King of Saudi Arabia/future King of a United Arabian Economic Center is the key paymaster and financier of the Muslim terror groups,so he knows where they all live and hide,and he knows all the players. You don't seriously think he's going to leave that group of loons in power in his own backyard once they have served his purposes,do you? Don't forget,this guy has Jewish business partners. Odd how the press never mentions that,isn't it?
Nor do I think the loons will leave him in power once he served their purpose. Just how much loyalty of the military can be bought? I don't know this with any certainty but what makes you think that the King's army will back him if push came to shove? How much military help would France give him when 100,000+ of French troops are needed at home to protect the homeland from the Islamic nutsoes in France's backyard? Same for the UK. Germany, and even the U.S.
Since he will have the UN Army,Air Force,and Navy to back his play and they will have unrestricted rights to kill or put anyone in prison that becomes a speed bump,it's not a question of leaving him in power as much as it is a question of "how many of my tribe will be living tomorrow if I piss off the King?" Just how much loyalty of the military can be bought? Since all the officers are related to him and all the NCO's are members of tribes that support him,there isn't a whole lot of buying that will need to be done. Plus,like I wrote above,he will have the combined power of the worlds military to back him up. I don't know this with any certainty but what makes you think that the King's army will back him if push came to shove? His brothers and cousins run the army.
So did the Shah's bros run the Iranian army when he was overthrown. Usually its the rank and file that do the shooting not the officers. But I don not think that there is much of a chance that the King will cease playing two ends against the middle. For discussion purposes, what do you see the end game, the objective to the global Jihhad that Saudi is financing? Don't the globalist already have a strong foothold in western Europe, Russia, Assia and the U.S.? What is the purpose of instigating the chaos Jihhad is causing in France and across the globe?
If you know Bible prophecy, you have the answer-One world government with the Anti-Christ ruling the world. The books of Ezekiel, Daniel and Revelation are a hologram. Ezekiel is from the Jewish perspective, Daniel from the world's perspective and Revelations from the Christian perspective. The minor prophets add some details here and there. The three books concern the same period of time. The Tribulation. There will be massive persecution for those who will not bow down to the Anti- Christ. We haven't seen anything yet. It is just beginning. I taught a Revelations bible class. This was years ago. I told them that the Soviet Union would fall. They couldn't believe it. 5 years later, the Soviet Union fell. It's in the book of Revelations. There will be a short-lived holocaust of the Jews. Israel will be attacked by Russia and China. It will make Hitler's holocaust look like a tea party. It will be brief, but very bloody. Then "he" will make peace with Israel, but "he" will turn on them once again. The result will be the last world war...the Battle of Armageddon.

Sorry, got hung up in Daniel! It's back. :) My notes from that study are in storage somewhere. I simply did a google search here: www.religioustolerance.o rg/ryszard01.htm It is in agreement with what I had found...again, Revelations is in a hologram form with Daniel and Ezekiel. The Revelations study included Ezekiel and Daniel concerning the end times. Daniel 11:28 "And (he) ["the king of the north"] will go back (to) his land with great wealth; and his heart (will be) against the holy covenant; and will act effectively; and turned back to his own land." (literal translation) History of Russia after World War II. The passage contains enough details, which allow for a correct interpretation. Daniel foretells here that "the king of the north" [Russia] will not only be successful in WW II, but also that he returns to his land with a great amount of goods. If only Hitler had listened to Mussolini and the Japanese, who in 1943 advised him to stop military actions, the prophetic detail would have never been fulfilled. Daniel 11:28b "and turned back to his own land". The break-up of the Soviet Union and return to the country of Russian garrisons (the liquidation of Russian military bases). The prophecy of Daniel 11 is the key to understanding what is going to happen in the future. The latter statements Jesus' and Daniel's are alike. Matthew 24:5,6 (Luke 21:8,9) = Daniel 11:27,28 = XIX, XX, XXI Century, before the World War III Daniel 11:29a "At (the) appointed time (he) will return, and will enter into (the) south." 1. Did Daniel used word "Russia", no. Daniel prophesies talk about the future from the perspective of his original audience. For Daniel Hellenistic kingdoms and Rome itself were things of the future. And there were kingdoms of the north and of the south (west and east) aplenty. If you presented this XX century American exegesis to the Hellenistic Jews and early Christians, that Daniel talks about a strange country beyond Pontos Euxeinos (Black Sea) from 2000 years future to be bad, and a future great country across the great western see to be good. And if you claimed that Daniel wanted future brave printed Bible readers to mobilize 2000 years later on the right side of the Middle East conflicts, you would be seen as little strange. Easier said than done. How Hitler could stop military actions of 1943/1944 without Soviet consent?
